  • Support de tous types de médias

    10 avril 2011

  • HTML5 audio and video support

    13 avril 2011, par

    MediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
    The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.
    For older browsers the Flowplayer flash fallback is used.

  • Support audio et vidéo HTML5

    10 avril 2011

  • FFmpeg returns negative PTS and DTS for first non key frame

    18 février 2020, par Olga Pshenichnikova

    We have some envelope of FFmpeg, that processes the video.
    The tree first frames of video are : B -> B -> I as shown below :

    enter image description here

    PTS and DTS returns negative for first frame :

    enter image description here

    We have some code, that skips the frames that are below some timepoint (0 for first frame).
    Is it possible to ask FFmpeg to start from first frame and not from first I frame ?

  • ffmpeg video CodecContext picture height can't be changed

    19 août 2015, par Kaidul Islam

    I am writing h264 encoded video data into mov container using ffmpeg. Initially I created video stream using avformat_new_stream and set video stream codec context’s attributes like this -

    // .......
    // .....
    pCodecCtx->bit_rate = VIDEO_BIT_RATE;
    pCodecCtx->width = 176;
    pCodecCtx->height = 244;
    pCodecCtx->pix_fmt = STREAM_PIX_FMT;

    Then when I’ve received the first video frame, I tried to change the pCodecCtx->width and pCodecCtx->height to parsed W/H from SPS frame.

    SpsParser().GetPictureDimSpsFrame(pData, m_nPictureWidth, m_nPictureHeight);
    AVCodecContext* pCodecCtx = m_pVideoStream->codec;
    pCodecCtx->width = m_nPictureWidth; // 288
    pCodecCtx->height = m_nPictureHeight; // 352

    The video width has been changed successfully but the height can’t be overridden. When I tried to see the media file properties using mediainfo dump.mov, it showed :

    Width: 288 // well, changed
    Height: 244 // not changed
    Original height: 352

    Why the height can’t be overridden ? What to do ? Thanks in advance !

  • FFMPEG Overlay one video on top of another video at specific location

    11 août 2018, par Ewan Sou

    I have two videos (in mp4 format). I would like to put one video on top of the other video

    • Both videos have the same duration
    • The bottom video is of resolution 640px by 640px
    • The top video is also of resolution 640px by 640px

    I need to scale down the top video resolution to 580px by 580px. Then I need to position it in a specific location on top of the bottom video.

    I tried the below quote

    ffmpeg -i bottom.mp4 -i top.mp4 -filter_complex "[0:0][1:0]overlay=enable='between(t\,0,50)'[out]" -shortest -map [out] -map 0:1 -pix_fmt yuv420p -c:a copy -dn -c:v libx264 -crf 18 output.mp4

    It does allow me to put the top video on top of the bottom video I think. But the top video was not scaled down in size. Also, this top video is by default on the top left corner of the bottom video.

    In additional, somehow, the very first frame will not show the top video at all. Only at around the 0.5sec will the top video appear. Is there any way to make it such that the top video is showing at the very first frame too ?

    Thank you all in advance !
