25 avril 2018, par Venkat MaddyI developing android application, Where I’ve asked to record the calls and convert them to WAVE(.wav) format and send to server.
I am able to successfully record and save the audio in my mobile. The recorded file mime type is 3gpp, now I want to convert this 3gpp file to wav. I tried using FFMPEG but unable to convert it. I am posting my code here, Any help would be grateful.
While Converting the recorded file from aac to wav, I’m getting below error

ffmpeg rename output if the file already exists
24 février 2018, par Xeno BossI am recording one hour long video clips from an rtsp stream through ffmpeg with a custom filename and I want it to check if the video file already exists each time it saves a clip to my hard drive and rename the new output to conserve both files.
For example if it is saving the clip
video-02222018.mp4
instead of overwriting it will rename it tovideo-02222018-01.mp4
if the file already exists orvideo-02222018-02.mp4
and so on as long as the file exists.Note : I am going to run this using
crontab
on alinux
system so it would fire this script each hour. -
Error with os.system in python script
25 mai 2015, par Avery Ripoll CrockerI am creating a python script that will convert files using ffmpeg and unoconv. However when I run the program, rather than getting a converted file the program simply displays the text :
sh: 1: unoconv -f: not found
Here is the script for my program :
path = raw_input("Please drag and drop the directory in which the file is stored into the terminal:")
os.chdir(path[1:-2])
filename = raw_input("Please enter the name of the file you would like to convert, including the file-type. e.g. test.txt, however please do make sure that the file-name does not have any spaces:")
Fileextension = raw_input("What filetype would you like the program to convert your file to. E.g. .mp3: ")
body, ext = os.path.splitext("filename")
os.system("'ffmpeg -i ' + filename + body + Fileextension ")Any ideas as to why this happens ?
