    MediaSPIP utilise les balises HTML5 video et audio pour la lecture de documents multimedia en profitant des dernières innovations du W3C supportées par les navigateurs modernes.
    Pour les navigateurs plus anciens, le lecteur flash Flowplayer est utilisé.
    Le lecteur HTML5 utilisé a été spécifiquement créé pour MediaSPIP : il est complètement modifiable graphiquement pour correspondre à un thème choisi.

    MediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
    The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.
    For older browsers the Flowplayer flash fallback is used.

  • Force Xvfb to play audio in specific pulseaudio sink

    I’m trying to record audio from Xvfb session. In this Xvfb session, I started firefox, open webpage that contain an element. The audio element play music and loop.

    I create a sink with pulseaudio :

    pactl load-module module-null-sink sink_name=steam

    pacmd set-default-sink steam

    Then I start Xvfb session, start ffmpeg to record video and audio. It works. Now, I want to record another session, so I created new sink, named steam2, set default sink to steam2 like before.

    The problem is, in Xvfb session 1, when the audio stop-and-start (loop), it comes to new sink (steam2), then ffmpeg recorded no audio, steam2 now get mixed from 2 audios.

    Is there any way to force Xvfb session 1 play audio on sink1 ?

  • Generate 7.1 surround sound file and simultaneously play it on 8 speakers ? [on hold]

    Is there any software can do something like "receive 8 different audio sources and simultaneously play them on 7.1 surround sound speakers" ?

    Right now, I just use the ffmpeg to combine 8 audio to 1 audio file, but this is a little bit delay and I don’t prefer to generate the file.

    Does anybody know how properly play (via Android MediaPlayer) or convert media file with 1 video track and 2 audio tracks to enable 2nd audio playback ?

    Conversion is done with FFMPEG utility :

    ffmpeg -i sample.mp4 -map 0:0 -map 0:1 -map 0:2 \
    
    -vcodec h264 -acodec:0 aac -acodec:1 aac \
    
    -strict -2 -f hls -hls_list_size 0 sample.m3u8

    P.S. Media conversion is checked manually with VLC media player (audio tracks are presented and available to be switched).
