• broadcast HLS/TS Stream from FFMPEG

  I’m still wrapping my head around most of this, so sorry if my issue is an obvious one !

  I’m trying to broadcast a FFMPEG ’stream’ to a HLS stream i can load into a webpage.

  My understanding is that i need a media server to broadcast it from FFMPEG to a HLS stream ? with FFMPEG feeding the data to the server. I’m probably wrong though.

  I previously semi achieved what i want to do with stream-m, however it was too slow (less than 1 FPS) and wasn’t broadcasting in HLS.

  Previously, the steps i went through were to launch the stream-m server. then launce FFMPEG with the following command :

  ffmpeg.exe -f dshow -i video="screen-capture-recorder" -r 1 -g 2 -vcodec libvpx -vb 1024 -f matroska http://localhost:8080/publish/first?password=secret

  I could connect to the stream with Chrome using the following HTML :

  The issue is that this was slow, unusable in fact, and it’s not in HLS/H264.

  I need the feed in the specific codec as i intend to send it to a WiiU browser, which only supports "M3U8+TS(HTTPLiveStreaming)"

• Why am I getting an error for stream #0.1 ?

  I’m converting videos using ffmpeg-php. Here is my code :

  The output gives out this error at the end :

  Error while opening encoder for output stream #0.1 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height

  I know that both $srcAB and $srcAR have values because this is the command this being ran :

  ffmpeg -i source -ar 48000 -ab 160k -f flv -s 1920x1080 destination

  Of course, after the command is executed, the "convert video" has a size 0, which means it didn’t convert it.

  What am I missing here ?

Second, it could be the default page most visitors land on when they enter your site, like the homepage. 

  While pageviews offer insights, it’s important to dig deeper into user behaviour and other metrics to truly gauge a page’s importance and impact.

  Average time on page

  Time on page is the amount of time users spend on the page on average. You can see average time on page in Matomo’s page analytics report.

  A low time on page score isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Users will naturally spend less time on gateway pages and checkout pages. A short time spent on checkout pages, especially if users are successfully completing their transactions, indicates that the checkout process is easy and seamless.

  Conversely, a longer time on blog posts is a positive indicator. It suggests that readers are genuinely engaged with the content.

  Returning visitors

  Returning visitors measures the number of people who visit your site more than once. It can be expressed as a number or a percentage. 

  While some analytics tools only show returning visitors as a percentage, Matomo lets you learn more about each of them in the Visitor profile report.
