    Afin de palier aux difficultés d’installation dues principalement aux dépendances logicielles coté serveur, un script d’installation "tout en un" en bash a été créé afin de faciliter cette étape sur un serveur doté d’une distribution Linux compatible.
    Vous devez bénéficier d’un accès SSH à votre serveur et d’un compte "root" afin de l’utiliser, ce qui permettra d’installer les dépendances. Contactez votre hébergeur si vous ne disposez pas de cela.

  • Ajouter des informations spécifiques aux utilisateurs et autres modifications de comportement liées aux auteurs

    La manière la plus simple d’ajouter des informations aux auteurs est d’installer le plugin Inscription3. Il permet également de modifier certains comportements liés aux utilisateurs (référez-vous à sa documentation pour plus d’informations).
    Il est également possible d’ajouter des champs aux auteurs en installant les plugins champs extras 2 et Interface pour champs extras.

  • ffmpeg massive error spamming from FritzBox rtsp stream

    Im trying to offer a rtsp live TV stream via rtmp to my family, since the Fritz Box (which is offering the stream) has only 4 tuners -> at most 4 streams can be watched simultaneously.
    Im using ffmpeg to prepare the stream as dash stream and send it to my rtmp nginx. When i run ffmpeg im experiencing heavy image and audio artifacts in the final stream and error spams of doom in the console. I couldn’t find anything specific to my case on google. I read on the internet that AVM barely implemented the rtsp protocoll enough to get it to work with vlc mediaplayer.

    Is there anyway to get this under control ? The original stream is running good with vlc, but its unwatchable after its out of ffmpeg.

    I was running/testing this on my windows machine, but my target for this task is a ubuntu 16.04 so here ffmpeg on target with pthread support :

  • How to make a PAN faster/slower speed with FFmpeg ?

    I have an image named "input.png" 1920x7580 px and i want to make a PAN across it from top to bottom. My current code is :

    ffmpeg -loop 1 -i input.png -vf crop=1920:1080:0:n -frames:v 6500 out.mkv

    My video duration with this default speed is 4:20 (260 second). The scrolling down speed is 25 pixels per second.

    How i increase/decrease this speed without changing the video FPS (25 fps) ? For example my video duration to be 3 minutes.

  • Convert a ffmpeg video to an appropriate dimension

    I am writing a video conversion script using ffmpeg, it has been completed to full. Ideally, my video conversion script should output the video to many formats (like YouTube) :

    • 140p : 256 x 144
    • 240p : 426 x 240
    • 360p : 640  x 360
    • 480p : 854  x 480
    • 720p : 1280 x 720
    • 1080p : 1920x 1080

    The problem I am facing is that if a user uploads a 480p (854 x 480) video or close to 480p (854 x 480) the script will convert to all formats (1080p and 720p) which would seem like a waste of bandwidth and disk space in this case.

    The problem isn’t as easy as it seems. If a user uploads a 500 x 300 video I don’t want it to get converted to a 240p, there has to be some estimations.

    Who can help me or has some experience with such kind of problems ?
