    Vous pouvez nous aider à améliorer les locutions utilisées dans le logiciel ou à traduire celui-ci dans n’importe qu’elle nouvelle langue permettant sa diffusion à de nouvelles communautés linguistiques.
    Pour ce faire, on utilise l’interface de traduction de SPIP où l’ensemble des modules de langue de MediaSPIP sont à disposition. ll vous suffit de vous inscrire sur la liste de discussion des traducteurs pour demander plus d’informations.
    Actuellement MediaSPIP n’est disponible qu’en français et (...)

  • JavaCV : Video concatenation alternative to FrameGrabber ? [on hold]

    working on a project that concatenates videos together but only found the option of using FrameGrabber to iterate through both files then generating a new file from them which seems quite inefficient (for high frame rate files).

    Trying to get the best performance possible so if there is a a good alternative within javacv that would be very handy. I know ffmpeg has a concat command but cant find any javacv equivalent.

  • x265 Set max NAL/slice size via libx265

    I want to send my encoded NAL packets via UDP as a fast webcam streaming program.
    Because of the MTU size, I want to set the NAL packets to a max size of around 1390 bytes.

    I’ve found another response on Stack Overflow explaining that one has to set the i_max_slice_size or something, but this was for x264. I’ve been trying to find the equivalent for x265 but I cannot see it anywhere.

    I am using the libx265 (using x265.h) library for encoding.

    Can anyone guide me in the right direction please ? All help is greatly appreciated !

  • Implementing '-async 1' in C code to correct out of sync audio

    I have built a segmenter that takes as input a h264 / AAC video and segments according to the HLS specification. The source code for it can be seen here : https://gist.github.com/cpnielsen/f36729c371aac0fe535d

    It is implemented as a python extension, but the interesting parts are in the process_video() function. It makes use of the libav library (alternatively ffmpeg) to do the heavy lifting.

    It works 95% of the time, but we have come upon some videos where it produces segments with audio out of sync. If I was using the command-line tool, I could simply add -async 1 to fix it, but how do I implement the same functionality in my C code ?

    I found a snippet of code in avconv_filter.c (for libav, not sure what the ffmpeg equivalent is) where they initiate the filter, but without any documentation it is hard to figure out how to do this outside the whole modular setup.

    I just need to :

    1. Initiate the correct filter
    2. Apply it to the input (or output ? not sure)
    3. Know of any pitfalls when using the filter.

    Any help is welcome ; sample code, explanation of the filter, etc.
