    The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.

  • ffmpeg converting .vob to .mp4 --- colors are washed out

    I am very new to ffmpeg. Currently I am trying to convert old family movies from vob to mp4.
After getting some help I used this command :

    


    ffmpeg -i 1998.vob -codec:v libx264 -crf 17 -pix_fmt yuv420p -codec:a aac -movflags +faststart 1998.mp4


    


    Two things that still bug me. The output is almost 20% larger than the input and the colors are washed out. Although the movies are old and of low quality (grainy, rather flat colors, ...) the colors in the output movie are less intense than in the original one. Larger file size would be ok for me but do you have any idea which part of my command might cause the color issue ?

    Hi im using ffmpeg to zoom an image to specific point x, y. I want the points x,y to be the final position of the zoom the comand I have right now is :

    


    ffmpeg -y -i zoomInimg.jpg -vf "scale=6198:2350:-1,zoompan=z='min(max(zoom,pzoom)+0.06,10)':d=2400:x=4000 :y=1000 :s=6198x2350" -t 5 zoomIn.mp4


    


    so i want the image to end in points x=4000:y=1000
Is there a formula to do that ?

    


  • FFmpeg - Concatenate videos with not know format

    I am developing an application.
    People upload videos from their mobile, from other places.

    Using a CMS in PHP (it is the language with which the application is developed) I need to generate a unique video with these partial uploads.

    Through FFmpeg I am doing tests, from the command line :
