  x86inc : AVX-512 support
  AVX-512 consists of a plethora of different extensions, but in order to keep
  
  things a bit more manageable we group together the following extensions
  
  under a single baseline cpu flag which should cover SKL-X and future CPUs :
  
   * AVX-512 Foundation (F)
  
   * AVX-512 Conflict Detection Instructions (CD)
  
   * AVX-512 Byte and Word Instructions (BW)
  
   * AVX-512 Doubleword and Quadword Instructions (DQ)
  
   * AVX-512 Vector Length Extensions (VL)
  On x86-64 AVX-512 provides 16 additional vector registers, prefer using
  
  those over existing ones since it allows us to avoid using `vzeroupper`
  
  unless more than 16 vector registers are required. They also happen to
  
  be volatile on Windows which means that we don't need to save and restore
  
  existing xmm register contents unless more than 22 vector registers are
  
  required.

• How do I record a specific application running on my Mac using ffmpeg ?

  I just installed ffmpeg with using home-brew on Mac HighSierra. I want to record the contents (video only is fine) of an application running on my machine (as opposed to my entire Desktop). So I tried running the below

  but as you can see, I’m getting this

  error. What’s the right way to record video on my computer for only a specific application using ffmpeg ?

  I am trying to transcode a video file of 1.2mb file uploaded to my website server via php/html upload, but I keep getting the error :

  Funny thing is that the same server is extracting frames and getting duration of the same file using ffprobe and ffmpeg.

  I have contacted my host to no vital assistance. The only useful information they can provide me is that ffmpeg was compiled on the server with libmp3lame support.

  This code works perfect on localhost

  Any help as to why I may be getting the error and how to correct it is appreciated.
