• batch converting in ffmpeg from jgp to gif while changing the resolution

  Hi this is my first post - excuse how basic it is !

  I’ve got a line for batch converting jpg to gif in Mac

  for i in *.JPG; do 
  
     ffmpeg -i "$i" "${i%.*}.gif"
  
  done

  This line is from Lord Neckbeard’s answer to this post. How do you convert an entire directory with ffmpeg ?

  I just want to add one more parameter which is batch converting the resolution as well as the file type.
  inputting this doesn’t work :

  for i in *.JPG; do 
  
     ffmpeg -i "$i" -s:v 640x480 "${i%.*}.gif"
  
  done

  Any solutions much appreciated !

• FFMPEG stream separate video and music files

  I want to stream using FFMPEG some random nature videos and have some random music playing under it, by other words, playing some video files and some music files at the same time. I already searched but I found no solutions. I’m using Ubuntu currently. I said FFMPEG because I didn’t found any other solution. Thanks !!
