    You can help us to improve the language used in the software interface to make MediaSPIP more accessible and user-friendly. You can also translate the interface into any language that allows it to spread to new linguistic communities.
    To do this, we use the translation interface of SPIP where the all the language modules of MediaSPIP are available. Just subscribe to the mailing list and request further informantion on translation.

  • WebM live streaming via DASH

    I am following the instructions here to try to make WebM live streaming via DASH. My input is from an Axis camera and it is streaming as h264 encoding. I am using node to spin up the ffmpeg processes. I am able to create the .hdr file and the .chk files. The .mpd file is even created but it’s empty and I get an error saying :

    Could not write header for output file #0 (incorrect codec parameters ?): Operation not permittedStream mapping: Stream #0:0 -> #0:0 (copy)

    What would be the most efficient way to create a video from a panoramic image that would for example have the size : 5000 width x 600 height px ?

    



    I created this GIF image that would explain things a bit better. Imagine that the video would be inside the red border. So the video would potentially be panning from left to right.

    I get weird video that plays some vidoe, then get stuck, then plays some audio, back to video and so on, it never plays both video and audio together.

    BTW, when I created separate SDP files for the video and the audio and stream them as two inputs into the same output, I get valid stream but the audio is not in sync (about a second offset).
