    Le thème graphique ne touche pas à la disposition à proprement dite des éléments dans la page. Il ne fait que modifier l’apparence des éléments.
    Le placement peut être modifié effectivement, mais cette modification n’est que visuelle et non pas au niveau de la représentation sémantique de la page.

    Pour modifier le thème graphique utilisé, il est nécessaire que le plugin zen-garden soit activé sur le site.

  • Ajouter notes et légendes aux images

    Pour pouvoir ajouter notes et légendes aux images, la première étape est d’installer le plugin "Légendes".
    Une fois le plugin activé, vous pouvez le configurer dans l’espace de configuration afin de modifier les droits de création / modification et de suppression des notes. Par défaut seuls les administrateurs du site peuvent ajouter des notes aux images.

    Les logiciels et librairies suivantes sont utilisées par SPIPmotion d’une manière ou d’une autre.
    Binaires obligatoires FFMpeg : encodeur principal, permet de transcoder presque tous les types de fichiers vidéo et sonores dans les formats lisibles sur Internet. CF ce tutoriel pour son installation ; Oggz-tools : outils d’inspection de fichiers ogg ; Mediainfo : récupération d’informations depuis la plupart des formats vidéos et sonores ;

  • Enhance text image in x264 encoding

    I’m making use of x264 for remote desktop streaming. The goal is to achieve both low bitrate and high video quality within the computation budget. The current parameter set I used almost achieve this goal, but it fails in handling images with many texts (e.g. browsing websites scene). The text in image is blurred and affects the user experience.

    I think it’s the quantization in x264 that causes this. The quantization after DCT transform will eliminate high frequency sinals which mainly correspond to texts in image.

    So, my question is how to improve the text quality in x264 encoding ?

    My idea : when the bitrate stays at a low level for a period of time,

    1. set crf to be 0 (lossless) ;
    2. encode current frame as an IDR frame and then send it ;
    3. recover the crf.

    Also, a flag should be used to prevent resending when bitrate keeps low for a long time. I haven’t try this method since I don’t know how to mark a frame as an IDR frame manully and then encode it.

  • Facebook live video can only be previewed while streaming my Mac screen

    I use the following ffmpeg command to share my screen streaming to Facebook.

    then I can see the video preview scenes

    however, once I press the ’Go Live’ button, and go to my facebook page, I can find a post said I am Live Now. When I press the ’play button’, there are only black scenes that last for 1 2 seconds, and the video ends.

    And there is also a weird thing, the video can be played when I end up the live stream. When refreshing the page, I can find a post said I was Live, the video of this post can be played successfully.

    Anyone knows why the video can be watched when previewing and finishing live but not the exact live moment ?

    During the live streaming period, if I press the play button, there are only 1 2 seconds black scenes and the live stream ends.

    However if I press the video frame again, another modal pops up then I can see the live streaming. Is it a facebook bug ?

    I’m not sure why, but the mpeg4_unpack_bframes bsf is not
    
interacting well with seeking. Looking at the code, it should be
    
ok, with possibly one warning shown, but I see it getting stuck
    
for an extended period of time after a seek where a packed frame
    
is cached to be shown later.
    

    So, I gave up on that and went back to making the old hardware
    
based path work. Turns out that it wasn’t broken except that some
    
samples have a 6 byte drop packet which I wasn’t accounting for.
    

    Now it works again and seeks are good.
