• ffmpeg convert images to mp4 error

  So I have a script that grabs a bunch of images from the web and then converts them into a movie. Yet I get a whole bunch of errors when I run it.

  First let me show what I am running and then I will post the error because it's huge :

  So the commented out versions work fine, but I need to use the 3rd version ! Here is the response I get from ffmpeg :

  repeated about 30 times, but i cut it out of the traceback because it was overwhelming.

  Question : What did I do wrong and how do I fix it ?

  I download the jpeg files using the urllib python library's urlretrieve. This is how I save them :

• FFmpeg will not run from php

  This is a live server i am on a Windows 2008 Web Edition R2 server with IIS7.

  I have tried all of this locally and it works perfectly. At first i thought this may have been a permisson issue i gave all ffmpeg folders and output folders full control. I also checked the php ini file to make sure exec is enabled.

  I was intially running the exec() function i later changed it to the system() function to see what ffmpeg was outputting. With the system() function it returns the error "Acess is denied". All of my research points to a IIS setting or Application Pool not having the correct permission. Any help would be much appreciated.

  FFmpeg location : C :\ffmpeg\bin\ffmpeg.exe

  I have been working on this for nearly a week even my server provider has no answer on why ffmpeg will not run from php. I believe this is a little deeper than full paths. It’s obviously a permission problem but the question is where is the permission problem ?

  It also seems that no .exe file can be executed from php.

  Hello,

  J’écris pas mal de chose pour le neo-spipien en ce moment et en écrivant je me rend compte que l’icone "Publication" ne sert pas à publier mais a plutôt un rôle passif de "suivre la publication", ce qui signifie pas grand chose sur un nouveau site ou l’on a pas encore publié.

  Alors que la publication, qui est souvent la priorité du nouvel arrivant se passe sur l’icone "Edition" qui pour moi signifie plutôt "modifier quelque chose".

  Quand on sait c’est pas compliqué mais quand on est nouveau c’et un peu perturbant non ?
