• ffmpeg : Could not negotiate a supported cipher suite

  I am trying to securely rtsp stream between two consoles on my computer.

  On the listening console I have :

  ffplay -rtsp_flags listen rtsps://127.0.0.1:8554/live.sdp?cert=domain.crt"&"key=domain.key

  On the streaming console I have :

  ffmpeg -f lavfi -i smptebars -c:v libvpx -f rtsp -rtsp_transport tcp rtsps://127.0.0.1:8554/live.sdp

  When I run ffmpeg on the second console, ffplay (1st console) returns with the following message :

  I get the feeling that the command syntax that I use is incorrect, but I was unable to find much resources on this on the internet.
  Can someone point me in the right direction ?

• How can I reset the path of FFMPEG in Java ?

  I accidentally set the path for FFMPEG to a different folder, and I can’t change it back.

  I’m using Processing (the API and its IDE) and the user created Video Export library to capture and write an mp4 video file. The library required FFMPEG, so I downloaded and installed it. After I installed it, I ran the code, and the library called Java to request the path of FFMPEG. I wrongly set the path to a different folder, which I eventually deleted. I knew I set it to the wrong folder, and ran the code again to see if I could trigger the Java prompt again to reset the folder.

  I need to find a way to reset the path of FFMPEG that Java has. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the library, but I haven’t tried Java (I don’t want to mess with anything it has in its current state).

  P.S. The file listed at the end of the console response (basic.mp4.txt) was empty because it had not begun writing to the file yet.

  I have enabled QSV with reference of the streambuilder’s enabling-iqsv docs.

  MACHINE DETAILS

  Server : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1285 v4 3.50GHz w/ Supermicro X10SLH-F

  I have installed ffmpeg with —enable-nonfree —enable-libmfx configurations, configuration command was successfully done.Then, I invoke make and our server gets hanged in few seconds and it will gets rebooted automatically.

  I feel it might be compilation issue with make script.
