    You can help us to improve the language used in the software interface to make MediaSPIP more accessible and user-friendly. You can also translate the interface into any language that allows it to spread to new linguistic communities.
    To do this, we use the translation interface of SPIP where the all the language modules of MediaSPIP are available. Just subscribe to the mailing list and request further informantion on translation.

    Les logiciels et librairies suivantes sont utilisées par SPIPmotion d’une manière ou d’une autre.
    Binaires obligatoires FFMpeg : encodeur principal, permet de transcoder presque tous les types de fichiers vidéo et sonores dans les formats lisibles sur Internet. CF ce tutoriel pour son installation ; Oggz-tools : outils d’inspection de fichiers ogg ; Mediainfo : récupération d’informations depuis la plupart des formats vidéos et sonores ;

    I have this bash script on downloading youtube videos then convert it to mp3 using youtube-dl and ffmpeg.

    This script is fine if I have one word title/artist/album. However, if I have a space, ffmpeg interprets each word before space as another parameter. This is how I use this on command line :

    ./yttomp3.sh -l "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwQnSHAilOQ" -o "Lee - Autumn Day" -t "Autumn Day" -r "Lee" -b "(Free) Lo-fi Type Beat - Autumn Day"

    I tried enclosing the arguments to quotes on the script but it’s still not working. How should I deal with this ? Thanks.

  • How to use ffmpeg with h.265 (or h.264) codec ?

    Normally I start recording the camera image with the command :

    



    ffmpeg -y -f vfwcap -r 25 -i 0 OUT.mp4

    



    but I'm not sure which coded do I use in here (I'm just beginning my adventure with ffmpeg), however I found on this webpage this command :

    



    ffmpeg -i INPUT -c:a copy -x265-params crf=25 OUT.mov

    



    But when I run it - I get the following error :
INPUT: No such file or directory"

    



    I changed the INPUT word above also to 0, so the command is

    



    ffmpeg -i 0 -c:a copy -x265-params crf=25 OUT.mov,
but error stays similar (0: no such file or directory).
How can I grab the camera image and save it to a file while using the H.265 ?

    The word "monotonous" means "spoken in a monotone" which is not what we
    mean here. We mean "monotonic" i.e. nondecreasing.
