• Stream input to stream output using avserver

  I'm trying to use the avserver package to re-stream my ip camera's stream in order to be able to record this stream and access it remotelly without having to stream it twice from the camera, to avoid overloading the wireless network.

  Following this link https://libav.org/avserver.html I came up with the following command :

  avserver -f /etc/avserver.conf & avconv -i http://user:password@192.168.1.121/videostream.asf http://localhost:80/feed1.ffm

  This gives me the following output

  When I try to open this stream via VLC, using

  http://192.168.1.15/test.asf

  I get the following additional output

• convert m4a to WAV file (containing signed 16-bit PCM samples) in ffmpeg

  I have a MP4a file which I am looking to convert to WAV file, containing signed 16-bit PCM samples. I have ffmpeg at my disposal, and looking at previous SOF posts, I have tried :

  



  ffmpeg -y  -i input.mp4  -acodec pcm_s16le -f s16le -ac 1 -ar 16000 output.pcm


  



  but, the program I use complains that this converted file has data in unknown format. I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on how to go from m4a to wav with pcm samples.

  


• FFMPEG hwaccel convert WEBM to MP4 video failed : could not find codec parameters

  I use FFMPEG to convert webm videos into mp4 format using a Nvidia GPU GeoForce GTX 1660 card on Windows 10. It has worked perfectly since the beginning for few months but now it's stopped working with strange error as below :

  FFMPEG version and Nvidia driver version are the same as before it just crashed overnight without a clue. I tried Googling around and did update to the latest ffmpeg version as well Nvidia driver version but it still doesn't help.
If I switch to CPU decoder (without hwaccel arg) using libx264 it just works fine.
