Simulate packet loss in internet video streaming
31 décembre 2015, par jamesI have encoded H.264 video using FFmpeg. I want to apply packet loss model like Gilbert Eliot model to depict video transmission over unreliable network.Like in this thread TV noise is simulated. But noise on the internet is different. So is there a way to simulate packet loss/ noise for internet video streaming using FFmpeg or MATLAB ?

Stream MJPEG to file, but keep only last x minutes
28 décembre 2015, par St. John JohnsonI’m looking to record a MJPEG stream on motion detected. But my motion detection notification is seconds later than the motion occurs.
To counter this, I want to record all the time, but only keep the last 2 minutes of footage.
Right now I’m downloading infinitely with cURL, but I’m stuck on how to have it trim the front of the file correctly to be 2 minutes.
