• Download hls m3u8 stream with ffmpeg comes only with video - no audio

  I want to download a hls m3u8 stream from an internet source. I was able to get the video as mp4-file. But there is no audio. I've tried already serveral ffmpeg instructions in the windows terminal but with no success. I've change from power shell to cmd and use some of this

  


  ffmpeg -i https://dms.redbull.tv/v4/dms/media/stv/AAEJ0EHC58GGJY1D7GWS/640x360@971824/personal_computer/chrome/at/playlist.m3u8 -c:v copy -c:a copy -t 30 -bsf:a aac_adtstoasc output.mp4

  ffmpeg.exe -i "https://dms.redbull.tv/v4/dms/media/stv/AAEJ0EHC58GGJY1D7GWS/640x360@971824/personal_computer/chrome/at/playlist.m3u8" -map -codec:a libmp3lame -b:a 96k -bsf:a aac_adtstoasc -c copy output.mp4

  


  The m3u8 addresses I've got using the browser tools for developers from firefox by searching in the network analysis.

  


  I also tried to get the video converted and saved with vlc - but also had no success. For the profile, I tried "Video - H.264 + MP3 (MP4)" with the setting "Keep original audio track". But also with other choices, I have had no success.

  


  I hope someone here has a working solution :-))

• download youtube video as audio file, with URL in filename, to a specific output directory

  I do this to download a video as an audio file (mp3), with the video’s youtube URL (URI actually) in the audio file’s filename (I like having the URI in the filename because it helps me identify which video I grabbed the audio from) :

  youtube-dl --extract-audio --audio-format mp3 --prefer-ffmpeg --ffmpeg-location "C:\FFMPEG" "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1-TrAvp_xs" --audio-quality 0

  The con with this approach : with this command, the file downloads to the same directory that contains youtube-dl.exe

  I do this to download a youtube video as an audio file (mp3) to a specific output directory :

  youtube-dl -o "C:\Documents\Downloads\%(title)s.%(ext)s" --extract-audio --audio-format mp3 --prefer-ffmpeg --ffmpeg-location "C:\FFMPEG" "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1-TrAvp_xs" --audio-quality 0

  The con with this approach : with this command, the downloaded audio file’s filename doesn’t contain the youtube video’s URI.

  My Question : How can I combine the above 2 commands such that the downloaded audio file doesn’t have either of the cons mentioned above ?
