• Create a watermark in a separate track with FFmpeg

  I have a PNG (alpha) file and a video file. I want to create a video in which the first track is the image and the second track is the video (PNG over video). The problem is that the PNG doesn't preserves transparency.

  I need create a watermark (PNG) in a separate track with ffmpeg over video track.

  ffmpeg -i base.mov -i logo.png -map 0 -map 1 output.mov

  I needed the watermark is on a track (stream) separately in order to enable or disable it with quicktime pro.

• FFMPEG is not loading

  I have writen the extension=php_ffmpeg.dll, and added to Windows/system32/codecs and others needed files, and added to my path /usr/bin/ffmpeg.exe, pThread.dll, SDL.dll

  So when i load Apache there is NO ERRORS, but also when i write extension_loaded('ffmpeg') or die('ffmpeg error') ;

  its not loading, how can i see where is the problem

  also THE PHPINF() ; - gives no info about ffmpeg

  do you have an idea where can be the problem ?

  if anyone know i am using denwer - its a combination of apache, php5, mysql and phpmyadmin

  ps : wasted 3 hours to find the problem and stil no luck

  updated : and yes the config of display_ errors = on, but it loads the ffmpeg as if all its allright

• ffmpeg fade filter installed but not working ?

  I have php 5.1.6 running on my CentOS 5 server running Apache 2.2.3

  I installed ffmpeg library and my aim is to covert a set of images into a slideshow with the fadein/fade out effect per image swap.

  Command ffmpeg says :

  firstly my ffmpeg was not having fade filter because it was giving error

  fade: filter not found

  so i installed the patch created vf_fade.c and made corresponding changes to Makefile and allfilters.c file of directory libavfilters in ffmpeg. configured it again then also ran commands 'make' and 'make install' Restarted the server but still its showing the same error

  fade: filter not found

  what should i do next ? if any more details needed please ask and all the helps and ideas and links will be appreciated.
