• Convert video files from mkv to mp4 w/ AC3

  The new spatial audio feature came out on the airpods and I'd like to convert my current 5.1 mkv files to mp4 files with AC3, since it is the only file format supported for spatial audio. I'm unfamiliar with ffmpeg, and would like help on how to convert my files.

  


• Strange error with ffmpeg and unoconv in python script

  I am creating a python script that can be used by other people to convert files. However when I use this script I keep getting a weird error when I run the subprocess for unoconv, this error is :

  I have looked through various resources for this, but the one answer I have been receiving is that I must have set up the unoconv line incorrectly. I have checked several times that the code is correct, and it is. The other peculiar thing is that my code for ffmpeg works. Does anybody have an idea as to why this happens.

• problem using ffmpeg drawtext for rtl languge

  i use this command to write on a video :

   ffmpeg -i source.mp4 -vf drawtext=\"text_shaping=1:fontfile=font.ttf:
  
      text='یه نوشته فارسی!': fontcolor=black: fontsize=$font_size: box=1: boxcolor=black@0:boxborderw=0: x=(w-text_w)/2: y=(h-text_h)/2 :enable='between(t,5,10)'\"  -c:a copy -force_key_frames 0:05:00,0:6:00 end.mp4

  it work fine when i don’t have numbers and symbols(!, ?,$ and ...) in first and end of my text.
  my lang is right to left and this commmand not support rtl.
  what i must do to solve this problem ?
