• Unable to execute CLI commands through PHP

  Webserver : Apache
  Code : PHP
  I am trying to display the output of command "ffmpeg -i " on the webpage using php.
  Required : The webpage should show the information about video (text).
  Whats happening : The webpage shows no text output on running the php code.
  If I was however doing system("ls") the code runs fine and outputs the list of files.
  Here's my code

  The same command works fine on my shell, and my system has ffmpeg installed. Here's a snapshot of executing this command directly on shell :

  I have tried appending "DISPLAY=:0" to my command and also done "xhost +" before running php code, but nothing is helping me out.

• FFMPEG in android issue

  I have successfully compiled the FFMPEG library to android using NDK.
  (using Rock Player FFMPEG implementation)http://www.rockplayer.com/download/rockplayer_ffmpeg_git_20100418.zip

  I know that FFMPEG supports .avi, divX, mov ect. But I created a mediaplayer and tried to run them but I was not able to play them. I is this the right way to use the FFMPEG library. Can Any one Help.I am able to play defaut video, mp4, 3gp etc. Here is the code for mediaplayer

• How to realize my web video picture in picture ？ [closed]

  I want to build a streaming media server in nginx+php that can drag the video progress bar and when my mouse over the video on the progress bar the video show the real-time and the thumbnail.Just like The Youtube. Can anbody understand me ?
  Can the ffmpeg help me realize that or give me some examples !
