Pour un fonctionnement correct et optimal, plusieurs choses sont à prendre en considération.

  • Android - Adding Effects to Videos like Instagram

    10 mai 2016, par San

I am in need of a idea to apply filters to video like Instagram, video trimming and fetching images from the video. I have researched a lot and all I can come up with is the following ways to achieve what I want :

    1. FFMPEG
    2. Open CV
    3. Camera2 API

    FFMPEG :

As far as FFMPEG is considered, majority of the average level droid devs feel that its a pain cause it involves NDK and compiling the FFMPEG commands. The above mentioned link is self-explanatory and it saves me the pain of setting up the NDK but the biggest drawback in this is that its not stable and its REALLY slow.
My query on this topic is that how do I compile FFMPEG into my project. I have gone through several links to integrate FFMPEG as follows :

    One

    Two

    Three

The third link seemed to make sense but ultimately I couldn’t understand completely and go where,do what after following those steps.

    Question 1 :

Is there is a solid Android - FFMPEG Integration Document that can help a beginner like me ?

    Open CV

    Question 2 :

I haven’t tried Open CV yet but will it be worth it ?

    Camera2 API

    Question 3 :

As far as I researched, I can see that the Camera2 API can help us shoot videos and images with effects added to it but will it be useful for me to process the already existing videos and images ? I don’t have the requirement to add effects to the camera while its captured, its aftermath is where I want to add my effects.

If someone is kind enough to accept my stupidity and help me out, I am thankful to them.

Will going ahead with FFMPEG be good or OpenCV or Camera2 API will be better ?

  • Live TV Stream to Android

8 mai 2016, par Hd Dream

I am new user on stackoverflow.
I wrote you today to get answer and solution to my problem.
I have input stream come from vlc. I need that all android connected to my network can watch stream in live in the same time like an online channel tv.
    I saw for this channel

    Code : Select all
    www.canal2international.net/live.php

there is a same ts file is generated for each 45 second.

I need to do the same but with a mp4 file that I insered on html5 video tag.
for that I tried to convert my input stream with this cmd on ffmpeg

    Code : Select all
    ffmpeg -i 192.168.1.10:8620 -c:v libx264 -profile:v baseline -c:a aac -ar 44100 -ac 2 -b:a 128k -f segment -segment_time 45 -segment_format_options movflags=+faststart -segment_list D :\live\play.m3u8 -segment_list_size 2 D :\live\watch%03d.mp4

I’m not satisfied. I can’t insert m3u8 file in html5 video tag because android don’t read it and his content.

I tried another code that I can say little similar that the result of this page

    Code : Select all
    www.canal2international.net/live.php

    Code : Select all
    ffmpeg -i 192.168.1.10:8620 -hls_flags single_file D :\live\play.m3u8

It generated two files, a ts and a m3u8.
I know that html5 video tag can read ts file. Maybe there is a solution somewhere.

The second way I don’t like in this code is ts file don’t read in real time. When I read file it begin from the first encoding.

All android connected to my network must watch in real time !

I don’t know how to solve my problem that’s why I write in thie forum.

Thank you in advance for all your help !

  • Live video streaming with Node js ,HTML5, MPEG-DASH, FFMPEG and IP camera/Raspberry Pi

    12 mai 2016, par sparks

I am a programmer but i am very new in live video streaming concepts.I need help

    What i want to accomplish

I want to develop an online live video streaming system. The scenario is i would have a device or number of devices(raspberry pi & camera only OR ip camera only ...not sure yet) to capture the video and stream the video live in real time remotely to my web app.Multiple clients can connect to the web app and watch the video live. The key things to note here, is that these devices should be wireless(able to connect to internet and live stream the content) and also i want to eliminate the idea of manually configuring the ip adrress to local WIFI router. So simply i turn on the device and it start streaming right away to the web app.

Infrastructure, Platforms,Browsers, Streaming methods and formats

In the beginning i just want to stream though chrome web browser(that’s all i care about). But in the future i would build android and IOS mobile apps.So long term i would expect to be Chrome and mobile(Android & IOS platforms)
So based on my research i learned that the client should be HTML5, streaming method MPEG-DASH(In the future add HLS), the web app will be in Node Js.I also came across Dash.js for Html5.

My understanding of streaming based on my research

I also came across things like FFMPEG,Dash encoder and wowza which i am not clear about. Now correct me if i am wrong, my understanding is that FFMPEG get hold of the device/camera and the content(i am not sure the format of the content at this point)and format it(i am not sure what this means in simple english) and then Dash encoder picks up and re-format the content to MPEG-DASH format, which produces MPD and then Dash.js client uses MPD to display the video to the browser.

    QUESTIONS

    1. First correct me if i am wrong based on my understanding above or
clarify for me.Also I am not sure of where the wowza streaming
engine come into play. Do i even need it ?

    2. I am not sure of the devices to use between Raspberry pi with camera
module/ Or IP Wifi camera by itself.I know with raspberry pi
connected to internet you can set up all the necessary programs and
stream the video to web app directly(not sure about quality and
performance) but I am not sure about Wifi camera. Is it possible to
connect to the wifi camera remotely from the web app programatically
without opening the wifi router portal manually or i should stick
      with Raspbery Pi ?

    3. For raspberry Pi would i be able to connect it with high quality
picture IP camera/web cam ? (The point here to get the best picture
      through raspbery Pi)

      My expectations

Better performance and quality would be great. But i know live streaming is not easy so i am willing to compromise performance to a point but not quality.

Thank you in advance, Anything will be appreciated.I know this is a lot so take your time :)
