Manim error : It's a sound problem that I haven't seen anywhere else
2 avril 2024, par Nεo PλατoI've been using Manim for about a month now, and with already existing impediments to my progress none has been more painful than the lack of sound when I got to this part of Theorem of Beethoven's tutorial. I've been struggling with it for three weeks and opened issues on GitHub and Reddit without any success.

So the code looks like this :

class AudioTest(Scene):
 def construct(self):
 group_dots=VGroup(*[Dot()for _ in range(3)])
 group_dots.arrange_submobjects(RIGHT)
 for dot in group_dots:
 self.add_sound("click_this_and_nothing_else",gain=-10)
 self.add(dot)
 self.wait()
 self.wait()

And the error message is a bit long and I'm still cracking at what it actually means. Here it is :

C:\Manim\manim-18june>python manim.py tutorial\7_add_audio.py AudioTest -pm
Media will be written to C:/Users/NeoPlato/Videos/manim_videos\. You can change this behavior with the --media_dir flag.

#EXT-X-VERSION:3
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:BANDWIDTH=400400,RESOLUTION=284x160,CODECS="avc1.64000c,mp4a.40.2"
160p/index.m3u8

#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:BANDWIDTH=875600,RESOLUTION=640x360,CODECS="avc1.64001e,mp4a.40.2"
360p/index.m3u8

ffmpeg problem video duration of an hour and a half
14 mai 2024, par Bruno MunnéWhen start record i call an api /start-record which does :

const ffmpeg = spawn("ffmpeg", [
 "-i",
 rtsp,
 "-c:v",
 "copy",
 "-an",
 "-f",
 "flv",
 `${filename}.flv`,
 ]);
ffmpegProcesses[rtsp] = {
 process: ffmpeg,
 filename,
 };

When stop the record i call an api /stop-record which does :

ffmpegProcesses[rtsp].process.kill("SIGKILL");
ffmpegProcesses[rtsp].process.on("exit", async () => {
 const ffmpeg = spawn("ffmpeg", [
 "-i",
 `${filename}.flv`,
 "-c:v",
 "libx264",
 "-preset",
 "fast",
 "-crf",
 "30",
 "-an",
 `${filename}.mp4`,
 ]);

 ffmpeg.on("exit", async () => {
 uploadToS3()
 })

})

If the recording is less than or equal to approximately 1 hour it works perfectly, but if the recording is 1 and a half hours it already breaks and it does not correctly generate the files, nor the flv nor the conversion to mp4

I hope my program works the same way it does for 1 hour recordings
