I have a file that purports to be "uncompressed mov" that I want to convert to raw using ffmpeg
9 août 2015, par Lyman HurdI am running Ubuntu. Here is what I receive and also cannot play the movie with vlc or totem, however the sender insists that these files play on a Mac using QuickTime. Thoughts as to what might be wrong ?

How can I fix a damaged MP4 ?
29 juillet 2015, par d3pdI have a video of just under an hour recorded but it appears to be damaged somehow. The file format is h264 MP4 and the file size is 2.3 GB, so I’m confident that the information is there, just that the file format is damaged. How could I approach fixing it ?
So far, I’ve tried a simple
ffmpeg
copy operation :>ffmpeg -i video_28_07_2015_15_16_05.mp4 -c copy out.mp4

Android FFMPEG library crashes on Lollipop
27 juillet 2015, par Laurent GorseI’m using this open-source library to encode RTMP streams for my live streaming app :
https://github.com/cine-io/cineio-broadcast-android
The library is based on FFMPEG with libRTMP, and is open-source. It build the following native shared library :
https://github.com/cine-io/ffmpegbridgeWhich relies on this :
https://github.com/cine-io/android-ffmpeg-with-rtmpThe issue is Lollipop compatibility. There’s a notorious issue where libraries need to be recompiled with PIE, but usually the thrown error is specific and states that "all binaries must be compiled with PIE".
However, as soon as I start streaming on Android 5.+, this is the error I get from the backtrace :
