    The zip file provided here only contains the sources of MediaSPIP in its standalone version.

  • Multilang : améliorer l’interface pour les blocs multilingues

    Multilang est un plugin supplémentaire qui n’est pas activé par défaut lors de l’initialisation de MediaSPIP.
    Après son activation, une préconfiguration est mise en place automatiquement par MediaSPIP init permettant à la nouvelle fonctionnalité d’être automatiquement opérationnelle. Il n’est donc pas obligatoire de passer par une étape de configuration pour cela.

    MediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
    The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.

    The input file may not have consistent start times, stream durations and
    
chunk durations. This patch at least removes negative durations that
    
make chromecast unhappy, and correctly sets starting time on chunks so
    
that the split (or .ismf) outputs match the manifest.

  • Using ffmpeg in comercial application ? [on hold]

    This is is more of a legal question but I’m sure there are many others who are wondering the same so I’m asking it here.

    I’s it okay, patent-wise, to use FFMPEG (for transcoding and video trimming) in a commercial application, be it free of charge or pay per install, on Android and iOS considering that both Google and Apple already pay loyalties to MPEGLA ?
