• How to use Intel Quick Sync/iGPU in OVH dedicated server

  I have a dedicated server with the following HW :

  


  CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) E-2386G CPU @ 3.50GHz
Motherboard: Manufacturer: ASRockRack, Product Name: E3C252D4U-2T/OVH


  


  According to the Intel website, E-2386G has Intel Quick Sync, and I want to use it.
I tried to check which VGA I have in the system (expected to see Intel + the local), and this is the output :

  


  05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ASPEED Technology, Inc. ASPEED Graphics Family (rev 41)


  


  I.e., the Intel iGPU doesn't recognize at all in the system, I tried to check in /dev/dri what are the existing devices there, and this is the output :

• Merge 3 ffmpeg audio tracks into one file without normalized audio

  I'm trying to essentially get the command line version of dropping files into Audacity, where they all start at the same time and when I export it, it will export as one file.

  


  I'm using this command ffmpeg -i <file> -i <file> -i <file> -filter_complex amix=inputs=3 <out></out></file></file></file> from another question and it makes the audio/end product softer. I can definitely tell a difference without any checking. I am working with files from the musdb18 database so I can make instrumentals manually for a project.

  


  How can I combine multiple audio files without ffmpeg doing something weird like changing the db or normalizing the audio ?

  


• Maintaining Subtitles after FFMpeg cut

  I am cutting a video using FFMpeg but I can't "force" FFMpeg to maintain the subtitles during the cutting.

  


  Now, I have a file video .mkv from which I want to trimmer the first second, the reason is simply that the audio is advanced of exactly one second, and the only solution I found is trimming the video and the subtitles of one second.

  


  So I proceeded with the "usual" code to cut the file :

  


  ffmpeg -i input.mkv -ss 00:00:01 -c copy -t 01:48:03 output.mkv   


  


  But the problem is that the final product is always just the video and one of the many audio tracks (for the audios is not a problem since I can repeat the process for each audio track and merge all together with MKVToolNix), BUT no subtitles.

  


  So I'm wondering if there is a way to cut subtitles, or equivalently to cut the video maintaining the subtitles.
