Pour les navigateurs plus anciens, le lecteur flash Flowplayer est utilisé.
Le lecteur HTML5 utilisé a été spécifiquement créé pour MediaSPIP : il est complètement modifiable graphiquement pour correspondre à un thème choisi.

  • Imagick refresh

25 September 2013, by Mikko Koppanen — Imagick

After some hiatus I’ve been getting back on fixing bugs on Imagick and getting the code into more representable condition. This hiatus has been a result of busy work schedule and getting a new start-up running in Kuala Lumpur.

While fixing a bug related to clone keyword I came across the following resource: http://www.rubblewebs.co.uk/imagick/. The page contains quite a nice collection of Imagick operations and is definitely worth checking out.

On the other news, the development has been moved to Github. As I’ve been the most active developer of Imagick in the past years I decided to move the code to Github where rest of my projects are located: https://github.com/mkoppanen/imagick. For the past few days there has been quite a lot of development, mainly working on removing the excessive use of macros in the code to make things more readable and debuggable. This might be a good place to give thanks to Remi for fixing quite a lot of compile warnings and raising bugs regarding Fedora Packaging Policy. Most likely there will be a couple of beta releases in the near future.

As mentioned in the previous post Windows builds are now available via http://windows.php.net and my builds provided here should be considered obsolete.

  • FFmpeg for automatic video generation from images?

    22 January 2018, by Dionisis K

I want to implement an automatic video generation from images, like facebook’s anniversary video. And I would also like to add some filters. I’ve been searching a lot and read FFmpeg’s documentation which is pretty amazing.

In the future I want to have 10-20 "bashscripts" with different filters leading to different themes (e.g. fade-in, zoom, overlay images, left-to-right, etc..)

So my biggest concern is having an interface which offers readable code and provides scalability. Since ffmpeg is a bashscript i searched for a wrapper

    There are wrappers in

Are there any other wrappers worth to check ?
Would you recommend something from the above ?
Is there any pros and cons using a specific programming language for this particular case?
Is there anything else i should bear in mind before I make a decision?

  • Seekbar not working in Chrome

    9 January 2014, by mbajur

I have encoded my video with the following settings chain:

    # line breaks are just for better readability
    ffmpeg -y -i /path/to/destination.mp4
          -vcodec libx264
          -acodec libfaac
          -s 640x360
          -movflags faststart
          -aspect 1.7777777777777777
          /path/to/source.mp4

And, for some reason, it broken the ability to use seekbar in Google Chrome (it works good in Safari). What i have noticed is that the videos were working fine when there is no -movflags faststart setting in above chain. Here is an example of video, which is not working:

    http://portalvhdsrwglplr5bdc2k.blob.core.windows.net/vdepot/uploads/video/file/167/mp4_5878a7ab84fb43402106c575658472fa.mp4

Please note: Seekbar is not working when video download is in progress or it's 100% the first time. If video has been downloaded by chrome player and you refresh the page, seekbar works fine.
