  • HTML5 audio and video support

    13 avril 2011, par

MediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.
For older browsers the Flowplayer flash fallback is used.

  • FFmpeg : output.mp4 which combined 4 mp4 videos cannot maintain the original frame rate

    24 avril 2021, par aki

    Combining all 4 mp4 videos at 25fps will output 24.15fps mp4.
Even if you specify 25 with -r, it will be 24.15fps.
This is a problem because it causes a black scene to appear at the beginning of the video for a moment.

    Command I used

    ffmpeg -i audio.mp3 -safe 0 -f concat -i video_list.txt -vcodec copy -y -strict -2 output.mp4

    Contents of video_list.txt

video_list.txt

Now, the output.mp4 is set to 25fps by using the following command.
However, this is not practical because it takes too much time to process.

    ffmpeg -y -i output.mp4 -r 25 output2.mp4

I am doing it with python. Please tell me the solution to maintain the frame rate.

  • RTMP proxy to crop original video and send it to another RTMP server

7 octobre 2020, par Nicola Peluchetti

I need to crop the video from an RTMP stream and send it to another RTMP server which always change. My understanding is that I should use nginx-proxy and ffmpeg, can anybody help me on how to set it up ?

I suppose that i need to send the stream to an endpoint like /stream/:stream-key/:next-server-ip process the stream with ffmpeg and then send it to the :next-server-ip, what language should I use in the backend for this ?

I want to decrypt and download/record MPD (dash) live stream and store that video for later viewing. I have made a demo to play MPD with license URL, but I want to download video data for later view. The stream is using Widevine DRM.
