  • Déploiements possibles

    31 janvier 2010, par

    Deux types de déploiements sont envisageable dépendant de deux aspects : La méthode d’installation envisagée (en standalone ou en ferme) ; Le nombre d’encodages journaliers et la fréquentation envisagés ;
    L’encodage de vidéos est un processus lourd consommant énormément de ressources système (CPU et RAM), il est nécessaire de prendre tout cela en considération. Ce système n’est donc possible que sur un ou plusieurs serveurs dédiés.

  • ffmpeg how to add a transparent watermark (png image) with opacity 50% in the video

    30 mai 2015, par user3361920

    I am adding a watermark in the video and am using the code below :-

    exec($ffmpegPath . " -i " . $tmpflvlinkFile .  " -i " . $water . " -    filter_complex \ 'overlay=180:150' -codec:a copy " . $flvlinkFile);

    where variables $ffmpegPath is the path of ffmpeg, $tmpflvlinkFile is the source path video file , $water is the source path of watermark image and $flvlinkFile is the path of target/resultant video file.
    I have even tried using transparent image for the watermark but still it did not help. All I want is the resultant video’s watermark to be transparent (50% opaque) so that the view/seen behind the watermark is visible in the video.

    Please help. Thanks

  • FFMPEG with SoX : configure : error : cannot find ffmpeg

    17 janvier 2014, par Alberto Megía

    So I am trying to install in my Ubuntu Desktop 12.04 SoX with FFMPEG support for m4a files.

    I have followed this instructions to install FFMPEG, installing only certain encoders. Finally, this is my set up :

    ffmpeg version git-2014-01-17-3ca7085 Copyright (c) 2000-2014 the FFmpeg developers
     built on Jan 17 2014 12:36:01 with gcc 4.6 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5)
     configuration: --prefix=~/ffmpeg_build --extra-cflags=-I~/ffmpeg_build/include --extra-ldflags=-L~/ffmpeg_build/lib --bindir=~/bin --extra-libs=-ldl --enable-gpl --enable-libass --enable-libfdk-aac --enable-libmp3lame --enable-nonfree
     libavutil      52. 62.100 / 52. 62.100
     libavcodec     55. 48.101 / 55. 48.101
     libavformat    55. 23.103 / 55. 23.103
     libavdevice    55.  5.102 / 55.  5.102
     libavfilter     4.  1.100 /  4.  1.100
     libswscale      2.  5.101 /  2.  5.101
     libswresample   0. 17.104 /  0. 17.104
     libpostproc    52.  3.100 / 52.  3.100
    Hyper fast Audio and Video encoder

    Then, I wget SoX 14.4.1 version and try to configure with FFMPEG support like this :

    ./configure --with-ffmpeg

    But I get this error :

    checking for FFMPEG... no
    checking libavformat/avformat.h usability... no
    checking libavformat/avformat.h presence... no
    checking for libavformat/avformat.h... no
    checking ffmpeg/avformat.h usability... no
    checking ffmpeg/avformat.h presence... no
    checking for ffmpeg/avformat.h... no
    configure: error: in `~/sox-14.4.1':
    configure: error: cannot find ffmpeg
    See `config.log' for more details

    So I try to set PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable :

    PKG_CONFIG_PATH=~/ffmpeg_build/lib/pkgconfig
    ./configure --with-ffmpeg

    Getting :

    checking for FFMPEG... yes
    checking libavformat/avformat.h usability... yes
    checking libavformat/avformat.h presence... yes
    checking for libavformat/avformat.h... yes
    checking for av_open_input_file in -lavformat... no
    configure: error: in `~/sox-14.4.1':
    configure: error: cannot find ffmpeg
    See `config.log' for more details

    Checking 'config.log' I see the following error :

    | #define HAVE_LIBAVFORMAT_AVFORMAT_H 1
    | /* end confdefs.h.  */
    |
    | /* Override any GCC internal prototype to avoid an error.
    |    Use char because int might match the return type of a GCC
    |    builtin and then its argument prototype would still apply.  */
    | #ifdef __cplusplus
    | extern "C"
    | #endif
    | char av_open_input_file ();
    | int
    | main ()
    | {
    | return av_open_input_file ();
    |   ;
    |   return 0;
    | }
    configure:15862: result: no
    configure:15935: error: in `~/sox-14.4.1':
    configure:15937: error: cannot find ffmpeg

    What am I missing here ?
    Thx !

  • how do i modify this ffmpeg build script for minimal binary size output

    13 janvier 2015, par Brian

    I’m trying to build the ffmpeg binaries for android on 3 chipsets. The output file size is too large to include in the project around 15mb.

    https://github.com/falnatsheh/ffmpeg-android is the github project repo

    the .sh build script for ffmpeg is like this

    #!/bin/bash

    . abi_settings.sh $1 $2 $3

    pushd ffmpeg

    case $1 in
     armeabi-v7a | armeabi-v7a-neon)
       CPU='cortex-a8'
     ;;
     x86)
       CPU='i686'
     ;;
    esac

    make clean

    ./configure \
    --target-os="$TARGET_OS" \
    --cross-prefix="$CROSS_PREFIX" \
    --arch="$NDK_ABI" \
    --cpu="$CPU" \
    --enable-runtime-cpudetect \
    --sysroot="$NDK_SYSROOT" \
    --enable-pic \
    --enable-libx264 \
    --enable-pthreads \
    --disable-debug \
    --disable-ffserver \
    --enable-version3 \
    --enable-hardcoded-tables \
    --disable-ffplay \
    --disable-ffprobe \
    --enable-gpl \
    --enable-yasm \
    --disable-doc \
    --disable-shared \
    --enable-static \
    --pkg-config="${2}/ffmpeg-pkg-config" \
    --prefix="${2}/build/${1}" \
    --extra-cflags="-I${TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX}/include $CFLAGS" \
    --extra-ldflags="-L${TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX}/lib $LDFLAGS" \
    --extra-libs="-lm" \
    --extra-cxxflags="$CXX_FLAGS" || exit 1

    make -j${NUMBER_OF_CORES} && make install || exit 1

    popd

    I tried adding —disable-everything as the first line in configure but then the compiler complains that I didnt set a target-os even though its the next line

    In the app I only use ffmpeg to take input mp4 videos and transpose and rotate them
    here are the two commands

    -y -i %s -vf transpose=%d -tune film -metadata:s:v rotate=0 -c:v libx264 -preset ultrafast -crf 27 -c:a copy -bsf:a aac_adtstoasc %s

    where %s is a file path

    and then concat files

    -y -i concat:%s -preset ultrafast -crf 27 -c:v copy -c:a copy -bsf:a aac_adtstoasc %s

    If someone can help me with the build script that would be awesome
