    Formulaire de création d’une catégorie
    Pour ceux qui connaissent bien SPIP, une catégorie peut être assimilée à une rubrique.
    Dans le cas d’un document de type catégorie, les champs proposés par défaut sont : Texte

  • Automated installation script of MediaSPIP

    To overcome the difficulties mainly due to the installation of server side software dependencies, an "all-in-one" installation script written in bash was created to facilitate this step on a server with a compatible Linux distribution.
    You must have access to your server via SSH and a root account to use it, which will install the dependencies. Contact your provider if you do not have that.

  • ffmpeg 2 pass encoding- understand the statistics in the output .log file

    I am using 2 pass encoder to encode my input video with a target bitrate.
I want to get the encoder (x264) statistics from the first pass- these statistics are written to ffmpeg2pass.log
the output for each frame looks like that :

    


    in:2 out:2 type:B dur:2 cpbdur:2 q:28.41 aq:25.07 tex:4721 mv:2357 misc:2266 imb:24 pmb:527 smb:3049 d :- ref:0 ;

    


    How can I found is the meaning of each value ? (for example, mv is motion vectors, but what is the meaning of misc, imb, pmb etc.?)

    


    ffmpeg command used :
ffmpeg -f rawvideo -pix_fmt yuv422p16le -s:v 1280x720 -i "input_file.yuv" -c:v libx264 -pass 1 -stats -vstats -passlogfile "log_file_prefix" -f mp4 -y "output.mp4" &&

  • FFmpeg Error Checking

    I have three example videos, good.avi, damaged1.avi, and damaged2.avi. The first will play in VLC, but the second two both error with the same "Broken or missing AVI Index" message.

    I have thousands of these videos which I need to process in MATLAB, so I’m trying to error check using FFmpeg like this : ffmpeg -v error -i vidname.avi -f null - 2>&1

    Now here’s the part I don’t understand :
    On good.avi it completes with no output -OK
    On damaged1.avi it outputs [mjpeg @ 0x7fc1dd813800] overread 1 -OK
    On damaged2.avi it completed with no output as in good.avi - ?????

    Would someone with video codec/FFmpeg experience please help me understand what’s going on here so I can develop a more robust error check ?
