    MediaSPIP utilise les balises HTML5 video et audio pour la lecture de documents multimedia en profitant des dernières innovations du W3C supportées par les navigateurs modernes.
    Pour les navigateurs plus anciens, le lecteur flash Flowplayer est utilisé.

    MediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
    The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.

  • FFmpeg get video length when duration is equal to "AV_NOPTS_VALUE"

    There’s a couple of video I have where the duration value in the AVStream is set so AV_NOPTS_VALUE. But players like VLC are able to get the length of that video. Even the file property in Ubuntu can read it.

    So when this happens, what should I do to get the file length ? Either in number of frames or in seconds, doesn’t really matter.

    P.S. : only with the API, not interested in calling FFmpeg in the command line.

  • ffmpeg output file the same length as source files

    I want to create a mixdown that will be the exact same length as the two files that I’m overlaying.

    I’ve got an instrumental (accompaniment.mp3) and vocal (vocals.mp3) file.

    accompaniment.mp3 file is duration=**178.863600**
    
vocals.mp3        file duration=**178.863600**

    When I successfully create a mixdown of the two audio files into one (mixture.mp3) the output file is longer.

    ffmpeg -i accompaniment.mp3 -i vocals.mp3 -filter_complex amerge=inputs=2 -ac 2 mixture.mp3
    
mixture.mp3       file duration=**178.886531**

    How can I create a mixdown that is the exact same length as the source files ?
