• Crop video into a 4x4 grid/tiles/matrix efficiently via command-line ffmpeg ?

  Hello Stackoverflow community !

  I dread having to ask questions, but there seems to be no efficient way to take a single input video and apply a matrix transformation/split the video into equal sized pieces, preferably 4x4=16 segments per input.

  I tried using all the libraries such as ffmpeg and mencoder, but having 16 outputs can be as slow as 0.15x. The goal of my project is the split the video into 16 segments, rearrange those segments and combine back into a final video ; later reversing the process in HTML5 canvas. Here is a picture to help you understand what I am talking about :

  after the segments are exported, I will recombine the pieces in a puzzle manner (they are also inverted and rotated but unrelated)

  I do not believe you can do this all in one command, so my goal is to crop into 16 mapped outputs quickly, then reassemble them in a different order. But I can do the other parts myself. Ideally there would be a way to move pixel blocks eg 100x100 and just move them around. My math is not strong enough..

• How can I set start time streaming without removing audio track ?

  I’m recording browser canvas and send videos chunks to backend e transcoded with ffmpeg to build a .m3u8 file, so I need to set up PTS using the command :

  ffmpeg -v quiet -loglevel error -i test5.webm -vcodec libx264 -acodec aac -r 25 -profile:v baseline -b:v 800k -b:a 48k -f mpegts -strict experimental -mpegts_copyts 1 -filter:v setpts=PTS+50.217/TB -y test5new.ts

  But, filter setpts just work when I remove audio track of video using "-an" :

  ffmpeg -v quiet -loglevel error -i test5.webm -vcodec libx264 -an -r 25 -profile:v baseline -b:v 800k -b:a 48k -f mpegts -strict experimental -mpegts_copyts 1 -filter:v setpts=PTS+50.217/TB -y test5new.ts

  Possibilité de classer des articles par drag’n drop dans l’interface privée, par exemple avec sortable ( http://jqueryui.com/sortable/ ) ou mêmes les images et documents, selon ce même principe (une démo http://blog.arnaud-k.fr/demos/jquery-drag-n-drop/ )

  Analyse¶

  Il y a déjà une balise #RANG qui calcule le numéro de titre s’il y en a un (ça affiche la partie numéro de numéro point espace titre).
  Idéalement, et pour assurer une bonne transition, il faudrait sans doute :

  1. Créer un champ rang
  2. modifier la balise rang en conséquence
  3. Enregistrer le numéro du titre dans le champ rang
  4. Et que l’opération de drag’n’drop :
     • modifie les champs rang impactés
     • et enregistre aussi le numéro point espace dans les titres pour rétro compatibilité (pouvoir débrayer ça par un define dans mes_options)
  5. Et rajouter un bouton pour supprimer le classement

  Et prévoir que dans les boucles, par rang !par date puisse fonctionner correctement si rang à NULL.
