• FFMPEG is not working in AWS lambda function

  I am trying to convert a video file into an audio file using AWS lambda function whenever a file is uploaded into an S3 bucket. So I am using FFMPEG for converting a video file into audio. But I keep getting this error while converting a video file. I have seen similar questions but none of the solutions is not working for me. So If anyone knows please share your solutions.

• FFMPEG conversion (h.264) taking long time for short videos

  I am trying to record the video and upload into the aws s3 server. Vuejs as front end and php Laravel as backend, I was not using any conversion before saving it to s3. Due to this if any recording recorded from android cannot be played in apple device due to some codecs..
To over come this, I am using ffmpeg to encode in X264() format to make it play in apple and android device regardless on which device the recording is done.

  


  1 min video taking 6-7 minutes using ffmpeg. I thought may be aws s3 taking time to save, i commented "saving to s3 bucket code" still very slow to save temp public folder in php.

  


  please check the code if i am missing anything to make conversion quick. if any solution update answer with reference link or code snippet with reference to my code below.

  Its blocking point for me. I cannot let user to wait 5-6 mins to upload 1 min video.

  


• I detected an error downloading a twitch tv stream. I use ffmpeg. That error stops the download, how can I fix it ? [closed]

  I wanted to perform a download via ffmpeg of a video streamed live on the Twitch tv platform. I have windows 10 and I use cmd to run ffmpeg.

  


  The command I use to download the concert is :

  


  ffmpeg.exe -i "m3u8-link" -c copy name.ts


  


  I once downloaded with yt-dlp, but noticed that the quality was noticeably lower, at least using the following command :
yt-dlp.exe -f (bestvideo+bestaudio/best) "amazon-channel-link"

  


  That's why I prefer to download with ffmpeg. Normally I haven't had any problems with downloads. But this is already the third time (not continuously/consecutively) that I get this error. That error causes the download of the stream to terminate. It is not like in other occasions that sometimes a .ts fragment (of 3 seconds, for example) has already expired (and is not included in the download) but the download continues.

  Is there any way to prevent this error ? Or can I do something so that the download does not stop because of this error ?

  


  And excuse me but I forgot to take a screenshot of the cmd screen, so I don't remember the colors of the letters (it certainly changed the colors of the letters when the error appeared). So I proceed to indicate that the error starts when it says : “ [hls @ 000001edab89e500] keepalive request failed for ”.
