    MediaSPIP utilise les balises HTML5 video et audio pour la lecture de documents multimedia en profitant des dernières innovations du W3C supportées par les navigateurs modernes.
    Pour les navigateurs plus anciens, le lecteur flash Flowplayer est utilisé.
    Le lecteur HTML5 utilisé a été spécifiquement créé pour MediaSPIP : il est complètement modifiable graphiquement pour correspondre à un thème choisi.

  • How to get rtp(javacv ffmpeg) stream from VLC as client

    I am trying to play rtp stream from vlc player which I created using javacv. Here is the code :

    If I choose my codec as AV_CODEC_ID_MPEG2VIDEO I can play the stream from VLC using rtp ://239.31.31.69:4433 with open network.

    If I increase the quality using setVideoBitrate(1024*1024*2) the stream lags too much and if I decrease the quality is so bad.

    I want to use AV_CODEC_ID_H264 as my codec to fasten things with better quality but i can’t play the stream from VLC getting error :

    SDP required A description in SDP format is required to receive the RTP stream. Note that rtp :// URIs cannot work with dynamic RTP payload format (96).

    I tried to get sdp using wireshark and then I realized rtp stream doesn’t have sdp :) so I tried to create my own sdp like this

    Can you lead me to the right direction ? What should I do to get fair quality and no lag using rtp ?

  • FFserver - How to create a stream buffer ?

    I'm trying create a stream of different videos that get uploaded to the server every hour.

    The problem is that I cant concatenate the whole bunch of files together to get a nice stable stream because the playlist gets updated with new content quite frequently. Also I cant afford restarting FFmpeg because then the stream will get terminated for the clients.

    The only way I have thought to overcome this is to create a continuous stream that I can change, a file that that can be written and read at the same time. So far I only managed to create loads of read errors when concatenating the stream file while its being used.

    Can anyone suggest a way to create such file that can be read and altered at the same time(adding more content to the end and possibly delete from the beginning) ?

    avformat/hls : add support for alternative renditions

    HLS protocol version 4 added alternative renditions to the
    
specification (e.g. alternative audio tracks).
    

    The EXT-X-MEDIA tags can also contain metadata for "renditions" (i.e.
    
tracks) of the main Media Playlist.
    

    Add support for those.
    

    Note that the same rendition (AVStream) may be associated with multiple
    
variants (AVPrograms).
    

    Alternative subtitle tracks will require additional work and are
    
therefore not enabled yet.
