• ffmpeg - Creates a Terminal like Text Video Instead of Slide Show Of Images

  I am using ffmpeg encoder to render Images in my Android App with the Help of this Library

  The following Command is used to Render video from a list of images.

  String command[] = {"-r","1/5","-i",gpxfile.getAbsolutePath(),"-c:v","libx264","-vf","fps=25","-pix_fmt","yuv420p",root.getAbsolutePath()+"/"+"video.mp4"};

  and here the gpxfile is my text file that contains the following

      file '/storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera/P_20170807_143916.jpg'
  
      duration 2
  
      file '/storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Pic/P_20170305_142948.jpg'
  
      duration 5
  
      file '/storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera/P_20170305_142939.jpg'

      file '/storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Pic/P_20170305_142818.jpg'
  
      duration 2

  My Problem is While Running the Command it renders a Terminal Like Black Screen with the TextPaths inside the file instead of a Video...!!!

• Giving FFmpeg access to my app's data directory ?

  I’m working with one of the many Android FFmpeg libraries on GitHub, which each involve an NDK wrapper around a C binary. I’m trying to give other apps access to the video file I have edited with FFmpeg (and saved in External Storage), but at least on Android 6.0, the new permissions system prevents them from being able to access the shared file unless they themselves have the External Storage permission granted. The solution here would be to use content providers to open up a directory for other apps to access. However...

  My FFmpeg binary is contained within the app’s data directory, but it fails when I try to access or modify a video file saved there. As mentioned above, it has no problem accessing external storage.

  Is there a way to give FFmpeg access to my app’s data directory, giving it read and write permissions ? Would naming the library with the same package name do the trick ?

  Any ideas ? Thanks for any advice !

• FFmpeg : Invalid argument error in complex command( android app)

  I am trying to add image overlay on video in my android app. I am getting this error.

  I don’t know what is going wrong in my ffmpeg command.

  My Command :-

  ["-y","-i","/storage/emulated/0/Download/test.mp4","-i","/storage/emulated/0/Download/images.jpeg","-filter_complex","[0]crop=720:720[base]","[1]scale=50:50[overl]","[base][overl]overlay=274:305","-preset","ultrafast","-c:a","copy","/storage/emulated/0/Piktale/Sent/Videos/overlay_video4.mp4"]

  Error :-

  [NULL @ 0xea630600] Unable to find a suitable output format for '[1]scale=50:50[overl]'
  
  [1]scale=50:50[overl]: Invalid argument

  Note :- but they all are working fine individually.
