  • Automated installation script of MediaSPIP

    25 avril 2011, par

    To overcome the difficulties mainly due to the installation of server side software dependencies, an "all-in-one" installation script written in bash was created to facilitate this step on a server with a compatible Linux distribution.
    You must have access to your server via SSH and a root account to use it, which will install the dependencies. Contact your provider if you do not have that.
    The documentation of the use of this installation script is available here.

  • ffmpeg audio and the iphone

    17 juin 2019, par michelle

    has anyone been able to make ffmpeg work with audio queues, I get an error when I try to create the queue.

    ret = avcodec_open(enc, codec);

    if (ret < 0) {
       NSLog(@"Error: Could not open video decoder: %d", ret);
       av_close_input_file(avfContext);
       return;
    }

    if (audio_index >= 0) {
       AudioStreamBasicDescription
       audioFormat;

       audioFormat.mFormatID = -1;

       audioFormat.mSampleRate =
       avfContext->streams[audio_index]->codec->sample_rate;

       audioFormat.mFormatFlags = 0;

       switch (avfContext->streams[audio_index]->codec->codec_id)
       {
       case CODEC_ID_MP3:
           audioFormat.mFormatID = kAudioFormatMPEGLayer3;
           break;

       case CODEC_ID_AAC:
           audioFormat.mFormatID = kAudioFormatMPEG4AAC;
           audioFormat.mFormatFlags = kMPEG4Object_AAC_Main;
           break;

       case CODEC_ID_AC3:
           audioFormat.mFormatID = kAudioFormatAC3;
           break;
       default:
           break;
       }

       if (audioFormat.mFormatID != -1) {
           audioFormat.mBytesPerPacket = 0;
           audioFormat.mFramesPerPacket =
           avfContext->streams[audio_index]->codec->frame_size;

           audioFormat.mBytesPerFrame = 0;

           audioFormat.mChannelsPerFrame = avfContext->streams[audio_index]->codec->channels;

           audioFormat.mBitsPerChannel = 0;

           if (ret = AudioQueueNewOutput(&audioFormat, audioQueueOutputCallback, self, NULL, NULL, 0, &audioQueue)) {

               NSLog(@"Error creating audio output queue: %d", ret);
           }

    The issues only with the audio,

    Video is perfect if only I can figure out how to get audio queues to work.

    http://web.me.com/cannonwc/Site/Photos_6.html

    I though of remoteio but there is’nt much doc on that.

    I will share the code for the complete class with anyone that helps me get it to work.

    The idea is to have a single view controller that plays any streaming video passed to it, similar to ffplay on the iphone but without the sdl overhead.

  • Recorded & uploaded video from iphone device won't play in iphone

    11 juin 2019, par Sohil Chamadia

    I am facing an issue regarding :

    Recording video from iphone and uploading that video on my application(Develop in Wordpress Framework) then the video uploaded won’t play in iphone devices.

    This issue occurs only when I "Record video from iphone and then uploading that video into the application".If I upload existing video from iphone device then video will be played and it’s working fine. So please help to resolve this issue.I have used "FFmpeg library" to reduce the size of video.

    Below is the code which i have used to play video :

    <video preload="auto" width="320" height="240" controls=""><source src="abc.mp4" type="video/mp4">Your browser does not support the video tag.</source></video>

    When i click on video to play it then video is not play and cross sign is shown over the play button.Below i have attached screenshot of it :

  • Using FFMPEG to reliably convert videos to mp4 for iphone/ipod and flash players

    13 janvier 2023, par Jake Stevenson

    I need to convert videos for use in both a flash player and the iphone/ipod touch. I'm using the following batch script with ffmpeg :

    &#xA;&#xA;

    @echo off&#xA;ffmpeg.exe -i %1 -s qvga -acodec libfaac -ar 22050 -ab 128k -vcodec libx264 -threads 0 -f ipod %2&#xA;

    &#xA;&#xA;

    This always outputs an mp4 file, and I can always play it on my PC. The videos also seem to play fine on my iphone 3GS. But with some input files it won't work for older iphone versions (3G and iPod touch).

    &#xA;&#xA;

    Here's the ffmpeg output from one such file :

    &#xA;&#xA;

    My suspicion is that it has something to do with the audio encoding. If so, does anyone know how to force it to reencode the audio to the proper format ?

    &#xA;&#xA;

    Any other ideas ?
