Stream Opus Audio over RTSP with FFmpeg on iOS
4 mai 2016, par AlexKorenI’ve managed to compile FFmpeg and libopus for iOS and am now trying to figure out how to open an RTSP stream via FFmpeg and then play that audio using either RemoteIO or AudioQueue or something.
The setup would be as follows :
- Open an RTSP stream using an NSURL (rtsp ://...)
- I’m guessing have some sort of callback for the audio data
- Feed it into RemoteIO or AudioQueue
I’m at quite a loss of how to go about doing this so the more in depth you can help here, the better. I haven’t been able to figure out which part of FFmpeg I need, though I’m sure if I could wrestle the stream into some native type, I can figure out the RemoteIO/AudioQueue stuff.
Any and all help is appreciated !

FFmpeg youtube livestreaming [closed]
23 janvier 2024, par T1WTI'm developing a project for streaming on YouTube. I use Python + ffpeg in the code. I haven’t been able to fix the problem for a month now - after a while (from 6 to 20 hours) buffering begins. In the command I use -c copy. But after this time, I came to the conclusion that most likely the buffering (namely, the stream gradually drops from speed x1 to speed x0.9 and below) is due to the disk. My server has SATA. Moreover, the problem is that the disk reaches 100% active time. And around this time the flow speed begins to drop. Moreover, the total read/write speed is only 20MB/sec. How to fix it ? Thanks for your help, I really can't stand it anymore.

I’ll say right away that the potential of the project is great, now there are only 50 streams on YouTube, but then there may be more than 10,000.

I tried a lot but settled on the SATA drive and

ffmpeg single quote in drawtext
9 décembre 2023, par dotsamI haven't been able to get ffmpeg's drawtext video filter to draw apostrophes/single quotes when they are in drawtext's "text=" parameter, even when I escape them. Double quotes work fine, and apostrophes in text loaded from a file (e.g. textfile="example.txt") work fine. Is this a bug ?

e.g.

ffmpeg -i test.mpg -vf drawtext="apostrophes don't print" ...
ffmpeg -i test.mpg -vf drawtext="even when they\'re escaped" ...
