Playing 120fps in browser between original and re-made video, original is normal speed, new video is slo-mo
1er mars 2023, par Patrick VelliaI used my GoPro Hero10 to record at 4k 120fps on a green screen. This original video plays slo-mo in QuickTime but "normal" speed in the browser. I want it playing normal speed, and if end user wants to slow it down they have the extra frames for that to maintain clarity, which is why I record at 120.

I then used FFMPEG to create an image sequence of the video.

Then I ran Image Magic to create the transparent frames.

Then I put it back together with the following command for a HEVC mov file :

ffmpeg -r 120 -f image2 -i transparent/image_transparent_%08d.png -vcodec hevc_videotoolbox -crf 28 -alpha_quality 1 -tag:v hvc1 output.mov

I am still on an Intel MacBook Pro running FFMPEG 4.6 (as I've found 5+ was buggy with one of my commands a few months ago but can't remember which one, I think it was the videotoolbox).

The GoPro video has the following stream data as input to the FFMPEG :

Duration: 00:00:08.15, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 60160 kb/s
 Stream #0:0(eng): Video: hevc (Main) (hvc1 / 0x31637668), yuvj420p(pc, bt709), 3840x2160 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 59891 kb/s, 119.88 fps, 119.88 tbr, 120k tbn, 119.88 tbc (default)

 handler_name : GoPro H.265
 vendor_id : [0][0][0][0]
 encoder : GoPro H.265 encoder
 timecode : 19:05:32:105
 Stream #0:1(eng): Audio: aac (LC) (mp4a / 0x6134706D), 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp, 189 kb/s (default)

 vendor_id : [0][0][0][0]

 Metadata:
 creation_time : 2023-02-28T19:06:41.000000Z
 handler_name : GoPro MET

Whereas the re-constructed video has the following data :

Duration: 00:00:08.13, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 763650 kb/s
 Stream #0:0: Video: hevc (Main) (hvc1 / 0x31637668), yuv420p(tv, progressive), 3840x2160 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 763696 kb/s, 120 fps, 120 tbr, 15360 tbn, 15360 tbc (default)
 Metadata:
 handler_name : VideoHandler
 vendor_id : FFMP
 encoder : Lavc58.134.100 hevc_videotoolbo

When this re-constructed video plays in the browser, it is in slow-mo and I need to set the playbackRate to 4.0 for it to play "normally".

Is there something I need to add to the video for the browser to play it at "normal" speed ?

Discord Voice Bot cannot play the audio file
7 avril 2023, par Jakub NawrockiI tried to write a bot that will join the voice channel and play a audio at 20:00.

Currently the bot joins the channel, but immediately after that it disconnects without making a single sound with this message :

2023-04-07 17:58:01 INFO discord.player ffmpeg process 18258 has not terminated. Waiting to terminate... 2023-04-07 17:58:01 INFO discord.player ffmpeg process 18258 should have terminated with a return code of -9. 2023-04-07 17:58:01 INFO discord.voice_client The voice handshake is being terminated for Channel ID 1093533451778523241 (Guild ID 1093533451778523237) 2023-04-07 17:58:01 INFO discord.voice_client Disconnecting from voice normally, close code 1000. Code :

import discord
import asyncio
import datetime

TOKEN = 'TOKEN HERE'
CHANNEL_ID = CHANNEL ID HERE

client = discord.Client(intents=discord.Intents.all())

async def play_sound(voice_client):
 try:

 print(f"Audio file loaded: {source}")
 voice_client.play(source)
 while voice_client.is_playing():
 await asyncio.sleep(1)
 except Exception as e:
 print(f"Audio could not be played: {e}")

@client.event
async def on_ready():
 print('Bot is ready')
 now = datetime.datetime.now()
 target_time = datetime.time(hour=20, minute=00)
 if now.time() >= target_time:
 print(f"Current time: {now.time()}. Bot did not join channel.")
 return
 else:
 print(f"Current time: {now.time()}. Bot has joined at {target_time}.")
 await asyncio.sleep((datetime.datetime.combine(datetime.date.today(), target_time) - now).total_seconds())
 channel = client.get_channel(CHANNEL_ID)
 if channel is not None:
 try:
 voice_client = await channel.connect()
 print(f'{client.user} joined voice chat.')
 await asyncio.sleep(1)
 await play_sound(voice_client)
 await voice_client.disconnect()
 print(f'{client.user} left voice chat.')
 except Exception as e:

 print(f"Error during joining channel : {e}")
 else:
 print(f"Did not find a channel of ID {CHANNEL_ID}.")

client.run(TOKEN)

Any ideas ?

ffmpeg has been installed properly.

Why does File upload for moving image and Audio to tmp PHP folder work on Windows but only image upload portion works on Mac using MAMP ?
31 mai 2021, par YazdanSo according to my colleague who tested this on Windows says it works perfectly fine , but in my case when I use it on a Mac with MAMP for Moodle , the image files get uploaded to the correct destination folder without an issue whereas the audio files don't move from the tmp folder to the actual destination folder and to check if this was the case ... I just changed and gave a fixed path instead of
$fileTmpLoc
and the file made it to the correct destination. Sorry I know the first half of the code isn't the main issue but I still wanted to post the whole code so one could understand it easily, moreover I am just beginning to code so please "have a bit of patience with me" . Thanks in advance

I am a student learning frontend but a project of mine requires a fair bit of backend. So forgive me if my question sounds silly.

What I meant by manually overriding it was creating another folder and a index.php file with
echo "hello"; $output = shell_exec("ffmpeg -i Elephant.mp3 -ab 160k -ac 2 -ar 44100 -vn bub.mp3"); echo $output;
so only yes in this caseElephant.mp3
was changed as the initial tmp path so in this case as suggested by Mr.CBroe the permissons shouldn't be an issue.

Okay I checked my
Apache_error.log
only to find out ffmpeg is indeed the culprit ... I had installedffmpeg
globally so I am not sure if it is an access problem but here is a snippet of the log

I checked my php logs and found out that
FFmpeg
is the culprit.
Attached is a short log file
