• h264 restream works when i have no audio in ffserver conf but does not work when i try to add audio

  I am trying to restream an h264 video stream from a camera. All works well when I have NoAudio in my conf file. However when i add audio, even the video stream does not work. Has anyone ever encountered thiss ?

  ffmpeg -i rtsp ://*** -s 320x240 -vcodec copy -acodec copy -s 320x240 -ab 64k http://*:8091/feed1.ffm

  I’m trying to run ffmpeg on a NodeJS backend with fluent-ffmpeg, reading input files from Google Cloud Storage. Everything works fine if I download the file first :

  Here is the full output of ffmpeg when trying to do the conversion. It seems to read the details of the file fine but for some reason it fails, saying "Cannot process video : ffmpeg exited with code 1 : pipe:0 : Invalid data found when processing input"

• ffmpeg installed via snap return cannot create user data directory : /home/user/snap/ffmpeg/1286 : Permission denied

  I just installed ffmpeg via snap

  


  when I log to any user and I do snap run ffmpeg -i anyfile

  


  i always see cannot create user data directory : /home/user/snap/ffmpeg/1286 : Permission denied

  


  how can this be fixed ?
