Automated installation script of MediaSPIP
25 avril 2011, parTo overcome the difficulties mainly due to the installation of server side software dependencies, an "all-in-one" installation script written in bash was created to facilitate this step on a server with a compatible Linux distribution.
You must have access to your server via SSH and a root account to use it, which will install the dependencies. Contact your provider if you do not have that.
The documentation of the use of this installation script is available here.

How to get ffmpeg to output hls with multiple resolutions ? [closed]
23 septembre 2022, par CamHartI'm trying to switch my ffmpeg command from outputting a single mp4 to outputting hls files for 1080p, 2k, and 4k.

Here's the mp4 command that currently works :

ffmpeg.exe -y -framerate 50 -i 1.%09d.jpg.blurred.png -framerate 50 -i 2.%09d.jpg.blurred.png -i input.mp4 -filter_complex "[0:v]v360=equirect:equirect:yaw=180 [s1],[1:v]v360=equirect:equirect:yaw=90 [s2],[s1][s2]overlay [ovr1],[ovr1]scale=3840:1920 [ovr2],[2:v]scale=3840:1920 [ovr3],[ovr3][ovr2]overlay" -c:v libx264 -crf 17 -r 50 -profile:v high -level 5.1 -pix_fmt yuv420p -preset faster -g 100 -movflags faststart -c:a copy output.mp4

I've tinkered around over and over again, but I can't seem to get it to work. I'm still quite confused by
-map
and-var_stream_map
. Here's what I have currently :

ffmpeg.exe -y -framerate 50 -i 1.%09d.jpg.blurred.png -framerate 50 -i 2.%09d.jpg.blurred.png -i input.mp4 -filter_complex "[0:v]v360=equirect:equirect:yaw=180 [s1],[1:v]v360=equirect:equirect:yaw=90 [s2],[s1][s2]overlay [ovr1],[ovr1]scale=3840:1920 [ovr2],[2:v]scale=3840:1920 [ovr3],[ovr3][ovr2]overlay [src],[src]split=2[v1][v2],[v1]scale=1920x1080 [v1out],[v2]scale=2560x1440 [v2out]" -map [v1out] -c:v:0 libx264 -crf 17 -r 50 -preset veryfast -g 100 -sc_threshold 0 -keyint_min 100 -map [v2out] -c:v:0 libx264 -crf 17 -r 50 -preset veryfast -g 100 -sc_threshold 0 -keyint_min 100 -map [src] -c:v:0 libx264 -crf 17 -r 50 -preset veryfast -g 100 -sc_threshold 0 -keyint_min 100 -map 2:a:0 -c copy -f hls -hls_time 2 -hls_playlist_type vod -hls_flags independent_segments -hls_segment_type mpegts -hls_segment_filename stream_%v/data%02d.ts -master_pl_name master.m3u8 -var_stream_map “v:0,a:0 v:1,a:0 v:2,a:0” stream_%v/stream.m3u8

Any chance anyone can help me out ? Basically I need to take "src" (the stream named that in the command) and produce hls output for it at 1080p, 2k, 4k resolutions.

Jellyfin ffmpeg permission denied
11 septembre 2022, par SteveI am running Jellyfin on a Raspberry Pi 4 in a docker container (https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/jellyfin) and am trying to set up hardware accelerated video transcoding. I'm fairly certain I have set up the video devices & permissions correctly, but I am getting the following exception in the logs when trying to play a video through the web interface :

/usr/lib/jellyfin-ffmpeg/ffmpeg -analyzeduration 200M -autorotate 0 -i file:"/data/tvshows/Ed, Edd n' Eddy/Season 1 (1999)/Ed, Edd n Eddy - S01 E01-E02 - The Ed-Touchables and Nagged to Ed (1080p - HMax Web-DL).mp4" -map_metadata -1 -map_chapters -1 -threads 0 -map 0:0 -map 0:1 -map -0:s -codec:v:0 h264_v4l2m2m -b:v 2616000 -maxrate 2616000 -bufsize 5232000 -level 41 -force_key_frames:0 "expr:gte(t,0+n_forced*3)" -g:v:0 90 -keyint_min:v:0 90 -vf "setparams=color_primaries=bt709:color_trc=bt709:colorspace=bt709,scale=trunc(min(max(iw\,ih*a)\,1280)/64)*64:trunc(ow/a/2)*2,format=yuv420p" -codec:a:0 libfdk_aac -ac 2 -ab 384000 -copyts -avoid_negative_ts disabled -max_muxing_queue_size 2048 -f hls -max_delay 5000000 -hls_time 3 -hls_segment_type mpegts -start_number 0 -hls_segment_filename "/config/data/transcodes/575d44f8f0e15b3bc459c5289dfcdf9b%d.ts" -hls_playlist_type vod -hls_list_size 0 -y "/config/data/transcodes/575d44f8f0e15b3bc459c5289dfcdf9b.m3u8"

The real head-scratcher is that if I log in to the docker container with
docker exec -it /bin/bash
and paste the ffmpeg command from the logs and run it, it works fine.

I'm running as the
jellyfin
user, which is in thevideo
group, and has read/write access to the media directory.

Any thoughts ?

My docker-compose file is attached below, if any other system information is needed let me know.

FFMPEG Invalid Option [duplicate]
16 août 2022, par misteralexanderPer the suggestion from mklement0 I have shortened the output here to just the relevant code and error. Additionally, as he pointed out, I have changed how I am constructing the arguments (now passing as an array).

Additionally, the comment from kesh, I removed the "-filter_complex" and changed to just several "-map" 's.

$TEMPDIR = "E:\MediaConversions\BitLadder"
$FOLDER = 'White.Boy.Rick.2018.1080p.WEB-DL.H264.AC3-EVO'
$OUTPUTDIR = $TEMPDIR + '\' + $FOLDER

# Mux the 8 Bitrate Ladder steps into a single file, with a common audio stream
$STEPS = @(Get-ChildItem -Path $OUTPUTDIR -Name)
$INPUT_FILES = @()
$MAP = @()
$COUNT = 0
ForEach ($STEP in $STEPS){
 $INPUT_FILES += ('-i', "$STEP")
 $MAP += ('-map ' + "$COUNT" + ':v', '-map ' + "$COUNT" + ':a')
 $COUNT++
}

$OPTIONS = ('-' + "$INPUT_FILES", "$MAP")
#$OPTIONS
D:\Applications\ffmpeg\bin\ffmpeg.exe "$OPTIONS" -f matroska "E:\MediaConversions\White.Boy.Rick.2018_MultiStreamTest_AAC.H264.mkv"

But Sadly, I still get the same frustrating error :

Unrecognized option '-i White.Boy.Rick.2018.1080p.WEB-DL.H264.AC3-EVO_STEP1.mp4 -i White.Boy.Rick.2018.1080p.WEB-DL.H264.AC3-EVO_STEP2.mp4 -i White.Boy.Rick.2018.1080p.WEB-DL.H264.AC3-EVO_STEP3.mp4 -i White.Boy.Rick.2018.1080p.WEB-DL.H264.AC3-EVO_STEP4.mp4 -i White.Boy.Rick.2018.1080p.WEB-DL.H264.AC3-EVO_STEP5.mp4 -i White.Boy.Rick.2018.1080p.WEB-DL.H264.AC3-EVO_STEP6.mp4 -i White.Boy.Rick.2018.1080p.WEB-DL.H264.AC3-EVO_STEP7.mp4 -i White.Boy.Rick.2018.1080p.WEB-DL.H264.AC3-EVO_STEP8.mp4 -map 0:v -map 0:a -map 1:v -map 1:a -map 2:v -map 2:a -map 3:v -map 3:a -map 4:v -map 4:a -map 5:v -map 5:a -map 6:v
