  • Emballe Médias : Mettre en ligne simplement des documents

    29 octobre 2010, par

    Le plugin emballe médias a été développé principalement pour la distribution mediaSPIP mais est également utilisé dans d’autres projets proches comme géodiversité par exemple. Plugins nécessaires et compatibles
    Pour fonctionner ce plugin nécessite que d’autres plugins soient installés : CFG Saisies SPIP Bonux Diogène swfupload jqueryui
    D’autres plugins peuvent être utilisés en complément afin d’améliorer ses capacités : Ancres douces Légendes photo_infos spipmotion (...)

    Le problème du podcasting est à nouveau un problème révélateur de la normalisation des transports de données sur Internet.
    Deux formats intéressants existent : Celui développé par Apple, très axé sur l’utilisation d’iTunes dont la SPEC est ici ; Le format "Media RSS Module" qui est plus "libre" notamment soutenu par Yahoo et le logiciel Miro ;
    Types de fichiers supportés dans les flux
    Le format d’Apple n’autorise que les formats suivants dans ses flux : .mp3 audio/mpeg .m4a audio/x-m4a .mp4 (...)

  • Support de tous types de médias

    10 avril 2011

  • Displaying ffmpeg conversion progress

    29 mars 2014, par Hiigaran

    I'm trying to get an admin function made, in which I want to show a basic status of any file conversion(s) that may or may not be happening upon page load. I'm not entirely sure how to proceed with this, so here is what I have at the moment :

    exec("ffprobe -v quiet -print_format json -show_format '".$fileNameIn.".".$ext."' > /var/www/resources/ffmpegFormat.log");
    exec("/ffmpeg/ffmpeg -loglevel 'verbose' -i '".$fileNameIn.".".$ext."' '".$fileNameOut.".flac' null >/dev/null 2>/var/www/resources/ffmpeg.log &",$ffmpegOutput);

    My idea is to use ffprobe to output some information about the file to be converted, then use PHP in some way to read the output file (ffmpegFormat.log) for the total file duration. Once read, ffmpeg begins, while outputting to its own file (ffmpeg.log).

    I'm not looking for anything fancy, like live updates on the progress, so I'm content with simply having a script read the current duration from the last line of the ffmpeg.log file, compare it to the total duration from the ffmpegFormat.log file, and display a percentage only after a page load/refresh.

    I've placed a restriction on conversion to only one file at a time, for the sake of simplifying this progress indicator (and due to a lack of processing power on this computer).

    Assuming there's no simpler way than my idea, how can I do this ?

  • Problems using Cuda for video transcoding [closed]

    19 août 2022, par Jay Adlard

    I just bought a new pc as my faithful old windows 7 i7 laptop died. Now the laptop had both intel and nvidea gtx660m chips. When I transcoded video with handbrake the intel graphics managed 8fps when I changed over to the nvidia it managed 80fps and the graphics card got nice and hot so was obviously working.

    The new machine i bought is a i9 with an nvidea gtx780 running windows 10. When I tried to transcode some video hoping for it to use the cpu and Gpu but no joy,the card stays cool power usage is only a handful of watts higher than it running something simple.I had been using handbrake but I read it doesn’t support Cuda so why the laptop speeded up I don’t know. A friend of mine that is into ffmpeg came round found that ffmpeg reports no Cuda yet the card works fine in every other respect. Unlike the rest of the machine the graphics card wasn’t new but it looked like new…

    One thing to note I am not talking about nvenc as the quality is rather poor, no point in capturing uncompressed files cleaning them up and not using an encoder that will do 2 pass and an exhaustive search.
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced encoder that will use the Cuda cores ?

    Has anyone got any idea what the problem is ?

  • Node Webkit-Designing Media Player support all media codec(format)

    14 décembre 2015, par Vish

    I am working on product which classify any kind of media into movies, tv shows, videos, audio and images. Node webkit with angularjs and node is its base. Now I am trying to bring local playback, which enabled this classified media to play inside this desktop app. Have done lot of research, following are feasible solution to me :

    1. Getting ffmpegsumo.dll with all codec support, hence html <audio></audio> and <video></video> able to play all this videos.
    2. All unsupported video or audio to be converted into supporting codec format and steam it to <audio></audio> and <video></video> tag.
    3. Use some third party plugin to support like WebCherima .

    Option 1 and 2 are not looking feasible to me. For option 1, we have compile Chromium 41.0.2272.76 or nw.js v0.12.3 to update ffmpegsumo.dll with more codec. On other side Option 2 looking difficult to get good performance. I have learn few limitation of third party plugins.
    Please provide some insight ? Thanks !
