  • Unable to load FFMpeg in file in laravel project

    14 février 2024, par Hatim Ahmad

    i'm trying to convert a varity of audio files into a specific audio type of my chossing on my laravel project.
on my search i landed on a package called Laravel FFMpeg, i started with a fresh installation with laravel 6.2, and did the installation as it shows on github, as soon as i started using it i had this error :

    FFMpeg\Exception\ExecutableNotFoundException : Unable to load FFMpeg in file C :\Users\Hatim\Desktop\Projects\Audio\vendor\php-ffmpeg\php-ffmpeg\src\FFMpeg\Driver\FFMpegDriver.php on line 55
#0 C :\Users\Hatim\Desktop\Projects\Audio\vendor\pbmedia\laravel-ffmpeg\src\Support\ServiceProvider.php(61) : FFMpeg\Driver\FFMpegDriver::create(Object(Illuminate\Log\LogManager), Object(Alchemy\BinaryDriver\Configuration))

    I'm currently just working with a simple thing :

    FFMpeg::fromDisk('s3');

    and yes I have called it my Controller : use ProtoneMedia\LaravelFFMpeg\Support\FFMpeg;

    I have also tried to install the PHP-FFMpeg Package and also tried to install FFmpeg on my device and link it using the path in my config\laravel-FFmpeg

    This is how it looks now without any modification, I went to my .env folder but it has nothing regarding FFmpeg so it takes the default value, that's why I tried installing it on my device and replacing the default value with the path of the FFmpeg on my device.

    return [
'ffmpeg' => [
    'binaries' => env('FFMPEG_BINARIES', 'ffmpeg'),
    'threads'  => 12,
],

'ffprobe' => [
    'binaries' => env('FFPROBE_BINARIES', 'ffprobe'),
],

'timeout' => 3600,
'enable_logging' => true

    I'm currently working on my local environment, but this has to work on a server.

  • ffmpeg crashes in electron on mac apple store ; no suitable image found file system sandbox blocked open() of 'libass'

    20 février 2021, par Martin

    I am trying to release an electron app on the Mac Apple Store (mas), my electron app uses ffmpeg to render videos. In order to release my app on the mac apple store, It needs to be sandboxed, and by default ffmpeg makes calls to external libraries so I need to statically build ffmpeg and package it with my app. I have successfully built my app, submitted it to the app store, had it approved, and downloaded/used it but my ffmpeg fails with this errir :

    Uncaught (in promise) Error: Command was killed with SIGABRT (Aborted): /Users/martinbarker/Documents/projects/digify-new/dist/mas/Digify.app/Contents/Resources/ffmpeg -i /Users/martinbarker/Downloads/Steve Leach With The Crystal Grass Orchestra – Ocean Potion/9. Reason: no suitable image found. Did find:

    at handlePromise (/Users/martinbarker/…/execa/index.js:114)
    at async file:/Users/ma…js/newindex.js:1151

    I think this line is important ; file system sandbox blocked open() of '/usr/local/opt/libass/lib/libass.9.dylib' but I'm not sure what I should change with my static ffmpeg build so that it works in production and so that I can avoid the above error.

    My code is available on the branch mas-attempt-after-redesign here : https://github.com/MartinBarker/digify/tree/mas-attempt-after-redesign

    Inside my package.json I have the command download-ffmpeg which clones the ffmpeg repo, runs a configure command with some flags, and then builds ffmpeg into a folder called 'ffmpeg-mac', this folder gets packaged with the app for the mac apple store build.

    git clone https://git.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg.git ffmpeg-mac && cd ffmpeg-mac && ./configure pkg_config='pkg-config --static' --pkg-config-flags='--static' --libdir=/usr/local/lib --extra-version=ntd_20150128 --disable-shared --disable-lzma --enable-gpl --enable-pthreads --enable-nonfree --enable-libass --enable-libfdk-aac  --enable-libmp3lame  --enable-libx264 --enable-static --enable-filters --enable-runtime-cpudetect && make && cd ..

    You can see in the above ffmpeg command the flag --enable-libass, but even though I have that flag included, after I build and sign my mac apple store build by running sudo rm -rf dist/mas/ && npm run build-mas && sh mas-sign-script.sh, the production build (once approved) fails with the above included error.

  • W/System.err : java.lang.Exception : FFmpeg not loaded

    1er juillet 2021, par numa

    I ran an android machine learning code that uses AndroidAudioConverter from https://github.com/adrielcafe/AndroidAudioConverter, but I got the different errors as following.

    When I ran it with AVD emulator, it said (the error is in red font) :

    But if I ran it on my android smartphone, I am getting the following error :

    Also, when ran on an android smartphone and emulator simultaneously, I got the following error :

    E/AndroidRuntime: FATAL EXCEPTION: main
Process: com.example.coughc19, PID: 9041
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The size of the array to be loaded does not match the specified shape.
    at org.tensorflow.lite.support.common.SupportPreconditions.checkArgument(SupportPreconditions.java:104)
    at org.tensorflow.lite.support.tensorbuffer.TensorBufferFloat.loadArray(TensorBufferFloat.java:87)
    at com.example.coughc19.DetectCoughActivity.loadModelAndMakePredictions(DetectCoughActivity.kt:258)
    at com.example.coughc19.DetectCoughActivity.classifyNoise(DetectCoughActivity.kt:230)
    at com.example.coughc19.DetectCoughActivity$onClick$timer$1$onFinish$timer2$1.onFinish(DetectCoughActivity.kt:110)
    at android.os.CountDownTimer$1.handleMessage(CountDownTimer.java:127)
    at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:106)
    at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:193)
    at android.app.ActivityThread.main(ActivityThread.java:6669)
    at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Native Method)
    at com.android.internal.os.RuntimeInit$MethodAndArgsCaller.run(RuntimeInit.java:493)
    at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit.main(ZygoteInit.java:858)

    I used the Android 10 smartphone and Android 9 for AVD. This is a team project, which my friend build. It can run on his smartphone (Android 9). I need to connect the program to the cloud storage but I don't know why it ain't running on my device or emulator.

If anyone knows how to resolve this issue please help.

Thanks.
