ffmpeg closes with operation not permitted in android
27 avril 2022, par DevSharmaI am running FFmpeg in my app and specifically in "Android 11" I am getting this error from several users

I have researched a lot but no solution found.

I thought there is something wrong with the codec parameter that is being passed since it is saying "incorrect codec parameters" but most of the parameters looks good.

also verified if all the required file permission are granted and those are good too

now I m unable to find the problem,

please help, thanks

FFMPEG Incredibly Slow On Windows Server 2016
1er août 2019, par Ben GardnerI have a t2.small (2GB RAM, 1 vCPU) Amazon EC2 instance running a process using FFMPEG. It runs just fine ( 30 fps) on my computer (i7, 12GB RAM), but at around 2 fps on the server. Here’s the command :
rescale_command = f'ffmpeg -i {srcVideo} -filter_complex \"scale={owidth}:{oheight}, setsar=1:1, pad={dim[0]}:{dim[1]}:{oofx}:{oofy}\" {destVideo}'
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling ffmpeg/ffprobe
Edited per llogan’s request, I’ve also discovered that it’s relatively speedy towards the beginning (I’m rescaling 100 times over the course of the program) and slows down towards the end.
It utilizes 100% of the CPU even from the beginning, though.
Example command/output :
ffmpeg -i media/8-1-2019/hi/dl-107.mp4 -filter_complex "scale=607:1080, setsar=1:1, pad=1920:1080:656:0" media/8-1-2019/hi/sl-107.mp4

ffmpeg mp4 fade output appears faulty [duplicate]
19 septembre 2015, par DaveTheRaveThis question already has an answer here :
I can add a fade in and out to an existing MP4 with the following command and it works perfectly (from and to black) - it plays in all browsers and a range of Android devices
ffmpeg -i phpF21_i_v.mp4 -vf "fade=in:1:30, fade=out:st=4:d=1.0" -y phpF21_i_final.mp4 >phpF21_i_f.log 2>&1
But if I try to fade from and to white, the following command doesn’t work - it only plays in Chrome - no other browser - not on Android
ffmpeg -i phpF21_i_v.mp4 -vf "fade=in:1:30:color=white, fade=out:st=4:d=1.0:color=white" -y phpF21_i_final.mp4 >phpF21_i_f.log 2>&1
Am I missing something obvious ?
Cheers
Dave
