Decode `ts` videos on GPUs ?
30 octobre 2018, par Sam RadhakrishnanI have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080Ti that I am using for video processing. I am trying to decode videos on the GPU and am able to decode
Mpeg-4videos. However the problem is when I try using this fortsfiles. It errors out with a message saying that the format is unsupported. I am usingopencv::cudacodec::VideoReaderfor decoding videos.I have tried a couple of things-
- Spawning an encoding session to encode
tstomp4and then decode. However this seems like an overkill. - Decode using the CPU and then upload the frames to GPU for processing. This seems to be the best solution right now. However it still takes almost 4 times the time it takes for
mp4files on the GPU. - Use
ffmpegto copy the audio/video streams and change the container tomp4. This leads to almost twice the number of frames when decoded on the GPU
I am looking for a solution to decode
tsfiles on the GPU. - Spawning an encoding session to encode

Errors when use mps in NVDEC ?
4 avril 2019, par johnsondengI use
ffmpegcompiled withcuda, supportnvdecto decodeh264in gpu devices. MPS(https://docs.nvidia.com/deploy/mps/index.html) can share context with different processes, and this can use less gpu storage when use multi-process to decodeh264stream. But when I useffmpegin this mode, error got like this.Input #0, mpeg, from '/data/yt_traffic/media/nianjianbiao.mp4':

30 novembre 2018, par Arie SyamsudinI want to make IPTV with a topology like this :
Restream / source -----> IPTV server -----> User
The problem at the moment is the question of bandwidth that is still large.
Finally I announced by IPTV software providers to transcode with Intel QuickSync video and FFmpeg.
I followed the steps given by the software provider at the following link :
http://www.ezhometech.com/document/intel_ffmpeg.txtWhich comes from the link below :
https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/white-paper...I installed IPTV software on a laptop with an Intel processor, chipset and VGA.
