    25 avril 2011, par

MediaSPIP 0.1 beta is the first version of MediaSPIP proclaimed as "usable".
The zip file provided here only contains the sources of MediaSPIP in its standalone version.
To get a working installation, you must manually install all-software dependencies on the server.
If you want to use this archive for an installation in "farm mode", you will also need to proceed to other manual (...)

  • FFmpeg changing Keyframe Interval / GoP values while reencoding a Livestream ?

    17 juin 2015, par eCronik

I am using ffmpeg in an nginx environment to reencode Livestreams on Ubuntu.

So there are 2 Livestreams with the exact identical options going into the reencode. Both are streaming to a server in germany - one comes from germany, the other comes from the US eastcoast. So I have the problem, that the receiver after the reencode moans after some time about the Keyframe Interval growing higher of the stream coming from the US - until a certain point where it stops. This is not always happening in the same amount of time or to the same extent.

This is the line I am using to reencode :

    exec_push ffmpeg -i rtmp://localhost/input/$name -c:v libx264 -preset slow -profile:v main -b:v 2175k -minrate 2175k -maxrate 2175k -bufsize 2175k -r 40 -g 80 -c:a aac -strict -2 -b:a 160k -f flv rtmp://server \-c copy -f flv rtmp://server;

Does anybody have a clue what could cause this and how to prevent it ? Changing x264 cpu preset on the machine where the stream comes from to something faster doesn’t work, and the reencode-server is just at 50% usage with ’slow’ as well.

    Here my version info :

  • Unable to record and stream screen with ffmpeg in RPI 2

31 décembre 2015, par aug born

I am using RPI 2 and trying to record a screen and stream it on udp using ffmpeg. I tried the following lines

    ffmpeg -f video4linux2 -i video="screen-capture-recorder":audio="Stereo Mix (IDT High Definition" -vcodec libx264 -preset ultrafast -tune zerolatency -r 10 -async 1 -acodec libmp3lame -ab 24k -ar 22050 -bsf:v h264_mp4toannexb -maxrate 750k -bufsize 5000k -f mpegts udp ://239.0.1.23:1234

    But I am getting error.

The ffmpeg program is only provided for script compatibility and will be removed in a future release. It has been deprecated in the Libav project to allow for incompatible command line syntax improvements in its replacement called avconv (see Changelog for details). Please use avconv instead.

    Unknown input format : ’video4linux2’

I also tried x11grab but still getting the same error.

    Please help !

  • rdt : Use a separate variable to clarify the different value namespaces

rdt : Use a separate variable to clarify the different value namespaces

The original flags variable contains rtpdec flags, while the
rmflags variable contains RM flag bits which have a completely
    different definition.
