HTML5 audio and video support

Simple way to grab thumbnail of FLV in ASP.NET without changing permissions on server ?
23 novembre 2011, par Rhys CauseyI'm looking for a simple way to grab thumbnails of FLVs in ASP.NET, without having to change any permissions/settings on the server. Ideally, nothing is installed on the server machine, but if necessary, small tools such as FFmpeg are fine.
I've tried FFmpeg using the command-line tool with Process.Start, but the same command that works in a Windows Forms application and from the command prompt does not work in ASP.NET (presumably because of permissions).
I've also tried using TAO.FFmpeg, and it seems to be working most of the time, but fails randomly, and does not start working again until the machine is restarted. Even when I use the sample code (decoder.cs), it sometimes fails when I try to open multiple videos in a single request.
If this isn't possible in a clean/straightforward way, I'm open to other suggestions.

How do I batch files numbered/named in sequential order starting from 0 using ffmpeg ?
15 avril 2019, par Nicole PintoI am using the command prompt to batch some image files from a video using FFMPEG . Right now I am using %05d to output all files named 00001, 00002, 00003, 00004, etc. However, I want to start at 00000. How can I do this so that files are batched and named starting at 0 instead of 1 ?
My line for the .jpg output looks like this :
C:\Program Files (x86)\ffmpeg\ffmpeg-20190411-3e10223-win64-static\bin>ffmpeg -i C:\Users\user1\Desktop\imgs\testy2.mov -qscale:v 2 C:\Users\user1\Desktop\imgs\%05d.jpg

ffmpeg encoding a video with time_base Not equal to framerate does not work in HML5 video players
1er juillet 2019, par Gilgamesh22I have a time_base of 90000 with a frame rate of 30. I can generate a h264 video and have it work in VLC but this video does not work in the browser player. If I change the time_base to 30 It works fine.
Note : I am changing the frame->pts appropriately to match the time_base.
