  • FFmpeg "Illegal instruction" Raspberry Pi Zero W

    I’ve been struggling with having FFmpeg run on Pi Zero W, as a newbie I can’t say where the root of the problem whether its the compilation configuration of the FFmpeg or maybe the syntax of the command line itself..

    The current configuration is :

    Raspberry Pi Zero Wireless
    Set GPU memory to 256

    Running OS :

    The result is an empty out.MP4 file... I’ve tried different configuration but never got it to work.

  • How to remove "wrting library" from an MP3 file using ffmpeg ?

    I tried to remove the "writing library" entry from some of my mp3 files with ffmpeg, and this is the command I used :

    



    ffmpeg -i input.mp3 -map_metadata -1 -c copy output.mp3


    



    The command removed all the other tags, but the "writing library" still remained intact.

    



    I've also tried other mp3 tag editing tools, but none of them did the job.

  • "Non-monotonous DTS in output stream 0:0 This may result in incorrect timestamps in the output file." error

    I’m trying to go from .mkv to .mp4 through ffmpeg. Normally I would use

    ffmpeg -i $1 -codec copy -strict -2 $2

    But on this particular file, I get this error, like, A LOT :

    Non-monotonous DTS in output stream 0:0; previous: 49189232, current: 49189232; changing to 49189233. This may result in incorrect timestamps in the output file.

    I guess it has something to do with the DTS :

    I would not care if the result was ok, but the sound is out of sync, and the video is "stuttering". Feels like everything is out of sync.

    I’ve tried a lot of things, including -async 1 -vsync 1 , but nothing seems to work.
