MediaSPIP 0.1 Beta version

The zip file provided here only contains the sources of MediaSPIP in its standalone version.
To get a working installation, you must manually install all-software dependencies on the server.

Amélioration de la version de base

Le plugin Chosen permet d’améliorer l’ergonomie des champs de sélection multiple. Voir les deux images suivantes pour comparer.
Il suffit pour cela d’activer le plugin Chosen (Configuration générale du site > Gestion des plugins), puis de configurer le plugin (Les squelettes > Chosen) en activant l’utilisation de Chosen dans le site public et en spécifiant les éléments de formulaires à améliorer, par exemple select[multiple] pour les listes à sélection multiple (...)

html5 video client side optimization

User choose a quality and plays the video like 160p, 260p, 530p etc depending on their Internet speed to load the video quickly. However in the server side I have to encode the original video using Ffmpeg into each of these resolutions and store them.
So it doing like video_1234_low.mp4, video_1234_mid.mp4, video_1234_high.mp4, etc. and switch the source to that video depending on which the user selects. This consumes a lot of drive space for large videos.
Is there any possibility to load the video quickly without storing these files. Dynamic conversion on demand is difficult because it takes time. I wonder is there any client side trick to reduce the download size and play low quality video.

Run ffmpeg or similar on files located on Dropbox [closed]
5 mai 2020, par MishaI have numerous small movies stored in seperate directories containing videoclips, each 5gb. I've like to compress and concatenate these clips for each directory using ffmpeg. The problem is that all the files are stored on dropbox (1.5Tb). Is it possible to do this in the cloud (Dropbox - do they sell machinepower for this kind of project ?) or do I need to download all of it and subsequently reupload the compressed files ?

HTML5 Audio() : Improved audio formats, mp3, mp4/aac + detection. Works on Palm Pre (tested on WebOS 1.4.1). HTML5 on for iPad, iPhone, Pre. Removed JS interval timer, using native timeupdate event. Callback frequency may be lower, but lower CPU. Element now unloaded + reference nulled at stop() / onfinish().
