    Comme les documents de type "audio", Mediaspip affiche dans la mesure du possible les vidéos grâce à la balise html5 .
    Un des inconvénients de cette balise est qu’elle n’est pas reconnue correctement par certains navigateurs (Internet Explorer pour ne pas le nommer) et que chaque navigateur ne gère en natif que certains formats de vidéos.

    MediaSPIP automatically converts uploaded files to internet-compatible formats.
    Video files are encoded in MP4, Ogv and WebM (supported by HTML5) and MP4 (supported by Flash).
    Audio files are encoded in MP3 and Ogg (supported by HTML5) and MP3 (supported by Flash).
    Where possible, text is analyzed in order to retrieve the data needed for search engine detection, and then exported as a series of image files.

  • Ajouter notes et légendes aux images

    Pour pouvoir ajouter notes et légendes aux images, la première étape est d’installer le plugin "Légendes".
    Une fois le plugin activé, vous pouvez le configurer dans l’espace de configuration afin de modifier les droits de création / modification et de suppression des notes. Par défaut seuls les administrateurs du site peuvent ajouter des notes aux images.

  • ffmpeg hflip command causes video to go black

    Using the command ffmpeg -i test.mp4 -filter_complex "[0]hflip" new.mp4 makes the output video turn completely black in windows media player until you play the file a second time and then frames will be missing.

    If you append the mirrored video after another video it will just simply stop playing once it reaches the time in the timeline where the mirrored video starts. If you put the mirrored video before another video it will simply display the mirrored video as a black screen.

    Any suggestions on how to fix this or another solution i can use in C# to flip and merge videos ?

  • Creating a convertAll() function that converts all .filetype in working directory

    I seem to not know proper bash syntax ; despite this, I’ve tried to create a tool that changes the dimensions of all files of a ffmpeg-accepted filetype in the working directory and converts it to another ffmpeg-accepted filetype. In this instance, this tool converts all .webm files over 1080x720 into 1080x-1 or -1x720 .mp4 files. If the .webm file is under 1080x720, the new .mp4 file will have the same dimensions.

    However, there’s a wrench in the tool.

    My best guess is that BASH can’t do mathematics, and that I’m declaring and editing my variables incorrectly.

    I’d like some input on this --- my lack of experience is really getting me here.
