    I need to test an OpenGL shader that renders YUV420P (and other YUV formats) into RGB. Decoding a video just for that would be too much.

    


    Are there any image samples with Y, U, and V buffers for me to send to the shader ?

    


    On google I only found old websites that no longer host these images.

    


    Maybe there's a way to easily extract a frame from any video using ffmpeg ?

    


  • ffmpeg concatenate clips with broken timecode

    I’ve just received some Blackmagic footage and some of the clips are separated into chunks because of dropped frames. So let’s say I have a set of clips that looks like below for a Clip 12.

    0100_C0012_001,
    0100_C0012_002,
    0100_C0012_003,

    Is there a way to create new clip from the 3 with the name 0100_C0012 ? Also, I have to actually concatenate the clips via timecode rather then the name as the numbers seems to break at points for some reason.

    I’m working on web application that will let users download videos from facebook, twitter and vimeo as MP4 or MP3.

    I don’t know what’s the recommended CDN or Hosting plan or product I should use to can host all these big media files ( mp3 and mp4 ) with a lot of download requests per hour and to be affordable in the same time ?

    And will auto deleting files that older than 6 hours on the cloud save some cloud storage costs ?
