    What is wrong with the following ffmpeg command ? Originally this had -sameq instead of the -qscale:a 0

    Command :

    I did a few edits removing the -sameq and replacing it with -qscale:a 0 which probably is wrong.

    Hi I’m using this cmd code to download stream video using ffmpeg :

    ffmpeg -i "http://wpc.866f.edgecastcdn.net/03866F/greyback/yourtrinity/130929-webword_,2500,1500,580,265,.mp4.m3u8" -c copy 130929-webword.mkv

    now I want a batch file that in running time ask me the video address and the file name by pressing Enter.

  • FFmpeg - Calculating with Framerate ?

    I have to cut my video exactly. This video could have 25fps or 30fps (i dont know).
    is there a Variable in ffmpeg for the framerate so i could calculate on which frame i had to Cut ? I only have the seconds of my video.
    something like this (for example 80sec video) :

    vf "fade=in:0:12,fade=out :(80*r):12"

    -vf "fade=in:0:12,fade=out:2500:12"
